Hi, I'm Sage. I'm a thirty-something year-old female writer, who's been writing off and on for the past almost-two decades. I've been on a prolonged hiatus for the past several months, save for a few failed stories, and I figured it's time for me to leave the chat and delve into some writing on the site again. Please do note that I have written on the site before. I'm linking two stories that I think best illustrate my style of writing. Feel free to reference them as you'd like, and if you think we'd be compatible as writing partners, mosey on over to my PMs, please.

What kind of things do you like to write?
I'm pretty open-minded, though I have most familiarity writing in modern settings, usually slice of life with a twist (horror, crime, and gore being some common themes). I have, in the past, written historical/medieval and fantasy stories as well, which can be fun. In general, the common underlying theme to all of my writing, however, is an element of romance. (Yeah yeah, I get it; I'm basic like that. Sue me).

How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
If you look at the stories I've linked, you'll see I can write. Generally speaking, I match my partner's lengths to the best of my ability. If there's more to mention in my post, then I'll do it. If we're exchanging dialogue, then you'll likely get a shorter response. It's fluid.
Speaking of fluid, my writing schedule can vary - and by a lot. I work full-time (M-F, usually 8-6), so daily responses are a challenge. I will try my best for weekly replies, at minimum. That said, I'm very communicative when it comes to changes in my availability and my posting schedule, so you shouldn't (hopefully) be wondering what's going on. And I would appreciate the same from you.

What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
I'm pretty tolerant, as evidenced by my first RP on the site. I do have some limits, and I'm happy to detail those out via PM if necessary. But yeah, not much phases me, so long as it's relevant to the story.

Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
I sure do! Generally, my (always female) characters end up being a bit more submissive than dominant and will seek out dominance from their (almost always) male counter-parts. I don't think my kinks are out of the ordinary, especially in comparison to those of other writers' on the site. That said, I'm not really one to advertise all of those so openly. You know the drill: PM me, please!

Do you write any fandoms?
Negative, fam.

Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
Do you have any characters you want to write?

-- In progress; come back later!

If you're really twisting my arm and wanting something, I would say that my current cravings range from angst, dark and mature themes to cutesy fluff and slow-burn. I've been craving, specifically, unexpected pairings/forbidden love. Think: enemies-to-lovers or rivalry-to-romance types, forced cooperation/proximity, working against a mutual enemy, etc.

Any additional notes you want to add?
  • I can't emphasize enough that collaborative and creative writing will always be a hobby to me, which means it will likely fall second to my other priorities. My hope is that if we do end up writing together, you can be respectful and understanding of this fact, and I ensure you that you'll be treated with the same courtesy. I will always, always, always communicate any interruptions to you.
  • Open communication is big for me. I'm not a mind-reader, and neither are you, so the best way to address something is through communication. If you're not feeling a story, just tell me. You've realized you took one too many on? Just tell me. Shit's happening in your personal life and you no longer can dedicate your free time to writing online with a stranger? Just tell me!
    • Adding on to this, I have been spoiled with fantastic partners in the past, both on this site and off. Consequently, I have been very selective in choosing partners. I don't think I'm hot stuff, by any means, and this isn't a dig at anyone's writing. But if I feel that our writing is not compatible and will result in a failed story, I will mention this and hope that you can respect that. (And vice versa! If I reach out to you and you think "no deal," just tell me; no hard feelings at all).
  • OOC chatter is something I enjoy and welcome. In order for us to write collaboratively, I feel like we'd need to be able to shoot some of the shit together, right? You don't have to tell me your life story, but it's important for compatibility as writing partners. At least, I think so anyway!
