I'm cress, and while I'm not at all new to roleplaying, I'm very new to this site.

as I mentioned above, I've been roleplaying for way too long; I think I'm going on fifteen-ish years at this point.
lately, work and other responsibilities have made it difficult to find the energy to sit down and write, but I'm happy to be on this site, and I'm looking forward to whatever opportunities arise to meet cool people and write interesting stories.

when I'm not working or writing, I enjoy drawing/painting, finding new crafts to entertain me for 3-5 business days, watching various horror-themed content on youtube, or maybe, if I'm lucky, reading one of the many books in my tbr stack. lately, I've also been enjoying cozy video games on my switch, such as animal crossing, cozy grove, and stardew valley.
I recently adopted a cat, so she's been taking up a lot of my time, too.

rp-wise, I'm trying to maintain a realistic goal without leaving anyone hanging.
I'm not picky on pairings, though I tend to gravitate toward mxf and fxf.
lately, I'm writing anywhere between 600 and 1k+ words per post, but it's been a minute since I wrote anything seriously so I'll apologize in advance while I shake the rust and dust off. I'm not a stickler for word count, but I appreciate effort more than anything.
I love romance and tragedy. a rp is never better than when the emotional turmoil of the characters directly affects my own emotional state lol
kidding. sort of.
smut is perfectly fine, but I'd love to have a conversation about limits before diving into the deep end. I've been caught off guard one too many times and I'd prefer for it not to happen again :'^)))))

this is a very quick introduction that I'll expound upon later in my search thread, but for the sake of posting something here, I hope it's enough.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
