→ WHAT I SEEK: I'm looking for a literate partner who can spell properly, understands grammar, and can give me enough to work with. Preferably someone who can write at least two paragraphs.
→ OTHER: Please know that I may not be able to post every day. I don't care about my writing partner's gender, but I'm currently only looking for people who write as male characters.
I prefer my characters 21+, with a few 18 or 19 year old exceptions.

TV: completed TWD. Seen FTWD through season 7. I do tend to prefer plots set pre-Commonwealth, but am open to those later seasons.
The men of this show have voices that could ruin my life.
▲ Carol Peletier x Daryl Dixon
• ♫ I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP ♫■ Carol Peletier x Morgan Jones
■ Carol Peletier x Axel
■ Michonne x Merle Dixon
■ Michonne x Rick Grimes
▲ Maggie Greene x Glenn Rhee
▲ Maggie Greene x [suggest reasonable canon]
• probably Daryl, but open to suggestions of characters for healthy relationships. I just wanna play Maggie and haven't quite figured out yet who beyond Glenn feels right■ Beth Greene x Noah
▼ Beth Greene x Daryl Dixon
• just never really got into them.■ Tara Chambler x Rick Grimes
• she flipped him off once and I was like "I can ship it". Is it rude to make lesbian characters bi? It might be lol▲ OC x Daryl Dixon
• I want him to rescue a woman who was one of Negan's wives. Either rescues her after the attack on the Saviors or somehow brings her with him when he escapes because Sherry made him promise. Or something.▲ OC x Negan
• I've got a gal for him who's very flighty and afraid of men after some bad situations. Every time she thinks a group might be potentially dangerous she bails without a word - I imagine Daryl following her when she tries leave after getting spooked by an interaction and ending up helping her out and sort of coaxing her back to the crew and then sort of becoming her protector. She'll be reasonably apocalypse capable, I don't enjoy damsels in distress
• I also have a woman who used to be an enforcer in a community that's recently changed leadership. She's gruff and a little withdrawn and doesn't know what her place in a community could be if it isn't providing enforcement and violence at the behest of the leader, and Daryl knows what it's like to feel that way.
• I want to start with a woman who knocks him out and holds him hostage because she's trying to figure out what he's up to and where he's from. It doesn't last long, obviously, because Daryl is a whole lot more trustworthy than he looks
• I've had a friendly but very no-nonsense dog trainer for years, because I knew right away Daryl would be the kind of guy who gets along well with dogs. Jokingly do I say she's rather pack-minded, but I think so is Daryl.
• would also love to put him in a position where he runs into someone he knew before the apocalypse - my immediately thought was a way-too-young ex-girlfriend of Merle's or someone he only knew when she was in a pretty bad place somehow, but I'm also open to someone who was a brief positive influence on his life.
• I think Daryl is the best romance option and I love him and I've got so many ideas just waiting to be fleshed out.
• It might be an unpopular opinion but I loved late-season Negan - still equally capable of brutal acts of violence with very little regret, but also trying to earn a place in Alexandria's community because he wants acceptance there. I also like that he had a hard time understanding why people couldn't just get over it because it's the apocalypse.■ OC x Glenn Rhee
• also this sounds weird and I know it but I like the way he moves? He's got a lot in his body language when he walks or prepares for a fight. And the facial expressions he makes, whoo boy.
• I would like to start after he's been locked up - he's in a very fragile place and I think it would be interesting for the first chunk of the story to be just conversations between them as she sort of decides how she feels about him after everything he put the community through. She calls it a morbid curiosity, says she wants to figure out the monster they've got in the basement. Eventually we'll manufacture a more our-story relevant reason to let him out than canon (or stick to canon) and go from there.
• also looking for a story when he's starting to get to do things around Alexandria - it might be same character as the previous plot, but also up for someone who just fully wasn't around when he was the antagonist so she's only ever heard things from other people.
• I am open to something when he's the leader of the Saviors, I've got a bit of a plot. I am not willing to play multiple wives for him.
• preference for early season. I love how brave he is without thinking about it - his instinct is always to help, no matter how dangerous, and people don't seem to notice in the beginning. ▲ OC x Rick Grimes
• season 5: Rick picks up a nurse from the hospital where Beth was held (or she arrives at Alexandria after escaping captors for a later set story). She's brilliant, brave, and fantastic with Judith, but hesitant when it comes to forming her own opinions and speaking out and generally inexperienced when it comes to handling zombies and human enemies. I want a cute li'l romance where she blooms into a strong person who can soothe his occasional instability and help keep him grounded.▲ OC x Shane Walsh
• I have a woman who used to be an enforcer in a community that's recently changed leadership. She's gruff and a little withdrawn and doesn't know what her place in a community could be if it isn't providing enforcement and violence at the behest of the leader. She's willing to and offers to do a lot of things if Rick asks her to even if they may be mentally or emotionally harmful to her, at least until he convinces her that's not how things are done around here. If you're willing to start pretty early on, I've got this very specific image in my mind of a scene with the two of them and the Governor. It'd work with Negan too, but perhaps a little less well.
• season 3/4-ish: Rick has been wandering the woods, and when he meets her he briefly think she's Lori (he hallucinated her at least once). She's obviously not and once it's cleared up that he's not dangerously insane, the two spend some cautious time together after which he tries to send her to the prison, to safety. She's understandably wary, and the two end up spending several more days outside the fences slowly connecting over how their lives have gotten them to where they are now. Either slow burn or with an eventual time-skip to help get Rick to the point he's relationship ready again.
• a small community near Alexandria is overrun, and Rick goes out with a small crew to try and scout for survivors or provide assistance. What he finds is a only one person left alive, half-wrecked with grief and guilt in a way that he very much recognizes.
• one of my two potential "make him better? No we can make each other worse" sorts of pairings■ OC x Luke Abrams
• I'd really like to have Shane slowly turning his obsession on another character. Maybe in the beginning she's into him but he's mostly using her as a distraction and then that changes? Aggressive and jealous, but with that layer of control and protectiveness that covers it up. Then he could live and probably continue coming into conflict with Rick or just leave and we go in a wholly original direction?
• alternately, he's successfully banished from the community and has to strike out on his own. Some of the same as before, but probably no main cast involvement. While I tend to be hesitant with OCs who need rescue, I do think characters who start out fragile and a little less efficient work really well for Shane.
• he was cute■ OC x Merle Dixon
• interested in exploring what a more solid redemption arc would have looked like for him.■ Suggest!
• tell me what you'd like to see re: FTWD if you're interested in that, I haven't quite gotten the pairings up yet. -
Completed show. Completed comic. Gave Black Summer a try but it didn't really hook me in because the vibes were completely different.
■ Brittany x 10k/Tommy
• Brittany is the girl from episode 1.7 "Welcome to the Fu-Bar" who was as good a shot as 10k. I always hoped she'd come back.▲ Sarge/Lilly x 10k/Tommy
■ Red x10k/Tommy
■ Kaya x Citizen Z/Simon Cruller
▲ Roberta Warren x Alvin Murphy
■ Roberta Warren x Charles Garnett
■ Roberta Warren x Javier Vasquez
▼ Roberta Warren x OC
• nobody much younger than her■ Addy Carver x Mack Thompson
▲ OC x 10k/Tommy
• The westward-bound survivor group runs into the people who've been tagging monuments. 10k finds himself taken by the 'we are the new history' philosophy and by the youngest woman in the group.▲ OC x Citizen Z/Simon Cruller
• the survivor group comes upon a few men trying to make profit out of human trafficking. 10k helps a fiery young woman escape, and she joins the group a little reluctantly.
• While the westward-bound survivor group is traveling, they briefly join up with a caravan. 10k meets a woman who's still strangely naive to the way the world works now. After tragedy, 10k helps her get back on her feet, and bloom into a skilled survivor. In return, she's the emotional support and compass he needs, someone who can help him work through all the feelings he hasn't had the time to deal with
• Season 3 AU - After the submarine explodes, 10k is fished out of the ocean by members of a beachside survivor group. Their leader is a woman his age, and 10k finds himself in a warm and friendly community with people who are perhaps a little unprepared for the weirdest parts of the apocalypse because of the safety they've built up. His skill and dedication would make him a highly valued member of the team. Eventually we could destroy the community and move them on and reconnect them with his main group. We can either follow the plot of canon from there or go our own way.
• [based on season 2 finale] the last thing Simon sees before passing out in the ice and snow with his dog is a figure in a thick coat, seemingly faceless. When he wakes up he's in a warm bed, the dog lying next to him, a concerned woman sitting nearby. The NSA wasn't the only base up there, and Simon has moved from one underground cage to the next. Potential partial language barrier?▲ OC x Murphy
• I have a plot I'll put more into later involving a group of scientists who were sent up to have safe room to work. The plane crashes and she's the only one who survives.
• I've got a plot with a scientist incoming■ suggest!
• something involving a woman who was captured by men intending to sell her off to someone. She doesn't quite get his growing empathy for zombies, but she certainly understands his growing disdain for humanity. Season 1, 2, or 3. It would work with his new character direction 4 too, as he's taking a more... well not heroic but good guy role for the moment.
• I fucking loved Murphy in season 4 (that cane sword, holy shit) and would love to pair him with a woman who's looking for a child - either biological or apocalypse adopted. -
I've seen the first season of the show and I know a good bit about the game on account of I am a Person On The Internet, but I haven't actually played it yet - I'm an xbox and nintendo switch girlie and I'm waiting for it to go on sale on Steam. I am not taking additional pairing suggestions beyond these.
■ Tess Servopoulos x Joel Miller
▲ OC x Joel Miller
• my instincts say set this pre-Tess.▲ OC x Tommy Miller
• I always love an "I can make him better" but with Joel I do also love a... well, I guess it's not an "I can make him worse" because he was pretty bad, so maybe "I can keep him bad but mine"?
• also good with "I can make him better" because who doesn't love that???
▼ OC x OC
• if you have a great plot and a fun character I'll probably be into it, but this isn't a world that's immediately interesting to me without canon involvement -
I generally avoid setting things right at the start of the apocalypse (unless specified otherwise in the pairing). Always in an original universe, not as two original characters living in a canon world. I tend to not be into zombies that can have a lot of mutation potential, but I'm definitely up for discussion about speed and mode of infection.
I all but require faceclaims for OCs, I'll have some ladies I like to use and some dudes I like to look at behind a spoiler under my pairings and plots, but please know you don't have to pick a dude from there - the most important thing is that you find something that fits your image of the character and that you like.
Listed as my role x your role unless clarified in the pairing.
▲ immune survivor x guard/escort
• Tough and gruff ex-soldier, ex-con, mercenary, something like that for the guard? I'm considering if I want her to be 'invisible' to zombies if she's silent and standing still because I think it increases the lack of feeling human and that appeals to me, but it's certainly not a necessary element to this. It could just exclusively be a "got bit and didn't turn" situation.■ 'Wildling' x survivor from a community
• Set 5-10 years into the apocalypse. I've got some ideas based on a comic I read called Rot and Ruin.He (age 21-25-ish) has always had someone with him to help him survive. From the outbreak to finding (or being part of the group that established) the fenced-in safe zone, he's never had to be alone. He knows how to protect himself and survive, of course, but always in a group, always with others who care about him and who he cares about in return. Disaster destroys his community or separates him from his group and her runs into her (age 18-20, younger than him) - someone who's survived on her own for almost as long as the apocalypse has been going on. She's a little off kilter and her survival skills are impressive, but she's not used to the additional protection companionship brings and the things it allows survivors to do, or the comfort of another person.▲ ex-secret agent [Mission Impossible/SHIELD-esque] survivor x scientist or maybe immune survivor
• She may be great at handling zombies but she needs someone who can keep her from going... dark because she doesn't necessarily always sort out right from wrong properly - especially when it comes to survival. He has some of or may possibly be the answer to the end of the world, they just need to get him to the right place/people.▲ ex-group enforcer x new group doctor or social outcast
• the group she was previously from wasn't... great, and people who spent time in the area knew that. But after the previous leader was removed the group settled, but she was no longer welcome for reasons she's been unwilling to discuss. He's the doctor of the new group she's joining or a bit of an outsider (earlier season Daryl Dixon-esque maybe? Or come to me with your thoughts) who doesn't quite feel he fits in. We can also say there's no group and it'll just be the two of them, though then the outsider type character doesn't work as well.▲ small town inhabitants at the start of the apocalypse
• I just watched The Dead Don't Die and while it wasn't exactly a spectacular movie I did really enjoy the sort of flat slightly absurdist tone and dry humor and would like to recreate some of that energy. If you haven't seen it, there's just a ridiculous level of acceptance about the whole thing - I think the dynamic will probably work a little better if your character is at least a little bit more normal with the whole thing?■ zombie movie enthusiast x private investigator/detective/sheriff/whatever
• I enjoy the dynamic of someone who's not as physically strong or capable but who has a solid understanding of the zombie apocalypse paired with someone who can do the physical work but doesn't really understand what the fuck is going on. Set within the first week of the apocalypse, probably. Am looking for a generally lawful dude who might struggle a little with the new and changing morality.▲ socialite x recluse
• the apocalypse started and he hasn't noticed - he's out in the woods in his cabin or camping and she's about to bring his peace crashing down around him. Set within days of the start of the apocalypse.■ something medieval-y
• but not like... super accurate, obviously. I just want swords, armor, shields, and zombies. -
Right now I'm just going to list the characters I'm interested in playing against. I've always got an OC or three up my sleeve for them but am up for discussion on the canon I'll play
▶ DC
• Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Roy Harper (Yong Justice preference), Oliver Queen (not from Arrow though), Victor Stone▶ Game of Thrones
• really just a wight AU, I've got a couple ideas for a post-show setup with that (and as many AUs as we want to make it likeable). Sandor Clegane, Jon Snow, Jaime Lannister, Jorah Mormont, Tormund Giantsbane▶ Marvel
• Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Clint Barton, Scott Lang, Sam Wilson, Peter Parker, Matt Murdock, Frank Castle, Logan Howlett (my socialite x recluse pairing here? lol), Erik Lehnsherr, Kurt Wagner, maybe Wade Wilson because I absolutely loved Night of the Living Deadpool▶ Stranger Things
• Eddie Munson, Steve Harrington, Jim Hopper▶ Supernatural
• they pretty much au'd it themselves already, not that we need to use that specific one.▶ The Umbrella Academy
• Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, Castiel
• they had enough shitty alternate realities, why not?
• Klaus (god, so many ghosts), Viktor, aged up Five
If you're bringing your own faceclaim my biggest ask is that it's not some guy just standing there smoldering emotionlessly at the camera.
These are some faces I like to use; feel free to request or suggest from this list or outside of it, but know that some gals or body types don't work for some characters.:
