I'm not so good at poetry.
The rhymes, the stanzas confuse, befuddle,
The pentameters there for what again?
Are there rules perhaps guides I should follow?
Or is this but a free for all?
What exactly defines a poem?
It's not the story or structures at all,
I've checked, trust me, it's not punctuation,
And the themes change and shift between people,
So now I'm just confused.
Writing is my only passion,
It's coded in my blood, my breath, my mind,
I want to master its every shape and form,
Acknowledge beauty in variety,
Or maybe just stick to haikus.
