- Who?/Me?
Hello there ~
Can I interest you in staring into the void with me to hallucinate a dream?
Oh...
We're all doing that already?
My bad.
While you're here though, would you care to make the words go? They've quite worn out their welcome, you see. Take a few, leave a few. Carry them with you. Lend them to another heart. You do you. I ain't ya daddy (as far as I know).
Where are my manners?
You can call me Thorn, or whatever pet name strikes your wee fancy. Just don't try and call me Boo. This is a words over coffee operation, not a haunting! Welcome to my nightmare, I hope I didn't scare you, and all that...acid jazz.
I'm an open book that's more interested in getting the privilege to read You.
Who the Hell are you, and what are you on about?
I hear you asking (possibly paraphrasing. No, I won't like you more if it's not. Put your pants on!)
Well, I am a complicated little cuss, to be certain. I am open to all genres, settings, and levels of lewd. In fact, I'd be willing to wager that I am one of the most worrisomely agreeable partners one could write with. I am focused almost entirely upon the peripheral, what lays between the lines...the upside down, if you will. I can get lost in a variety of fantasies on their own, but they function more as a symbol and vehicle to explore deeper depths. Allow me to be your mirror, mirror upon the wall, love.
Stories that pretend to be about magic until you're onto them...but then you come full circle on this perception, because the seeds it planted make you see yourself or the whole world differently? Yes.
I live for that shit.
Let's attack each other's forts with Trojan horses of meaning.
This being said, I am not so nebulous a person as to not have yums and yucks. I'm just letting my angle be known. Consider me a kink chameleon; However, making the story entirely about getting one's rocks off is a sure way to make me go poof. The only spell I'll ever be trying to cast is touching both of our hearts.
I always try to match partners and prefer quality of words over quantity. Good vibes only. There are no grand ambitions here, literary or otherwise. Patience is a virtue!
A few of my favorite things
I will play as just about anyone if the plot is right, but I do have a preference for male characters of a certain persuasion. The archetype that you can't quite nail down. The ambiguous, possibly dangerous man that has a demeanor of being told of a joke or a game they're graciously waiting for everyone else to grasp. Obnoxiously whimsical wizards. Trickster teachers. Mysterious interlopers that seem to know too much, yet don't seem connected to anyone or anything of relevance. Someone by appearances that should not be at all trustworthy, but has a heart of gold.
Music is a part of the process for me; so if you have any songs that inspire you to write an entire thread based on what they make you see and feel alone...gimme, pls.
I think emotively first, and then ponder how to word what I want to capture in a metaphor-heavy fashion. This two-edged sword makes my posting speed variable, but also capable to pick up and run off what may seem like very little. If everyone's having tea, I'm probably the energy drink from the nearby vending machine.
If you're still here, (wow) you might be a favorite.
Will you be the other sock? (And then we can shop for shoes!)
Traveler x Guide
Apprentice x Mage
Inquisitor x Heretic
Hunter x Vampire or Werewolf
Investigator x Cult Insider
Widow(er) x Outlaw
Princess x Jester
Lustless Wanderer x Succ/Incubus
Patient x Therapist
Detective x Wrongfully Accused
Tragic Loner x Android or Tulpa
Treasure Seekers x Ancient Entity
Rotten Royal Family x Court Wizard
I've plot bunnies for each one of these, but please do bring your own as well. I want to pet yours too, but leave any foxes in their holes, if you would. Badgers too.
Top o' the time to you, whatever that may be, and may you always win the wars you tell no one about. We must save Fantasia from the Nothing.
