Innocence proves nothing! ~Maxim of the Imperial Inquisition
The 41st Millennium is a maelstrom of unending war, where humanity clings to survival amidst a galaxy teeming with horrors. The vast Imperium of Man, a theocratic empire ruled by the decaying, god-like Emperor, stretches across countless star systems, beset by threats from within and without. Humanity's once-glorious dominion is now a flickering candle against the encroaching darkness. Xenos races, like the savage Orks, the enigmatic Eldar, and the technologically advanced Tau, vie for dominance, while the insidious forces of Chaos corrupt and twist reality itself, offering dark pacts and nightmarish power. Daemons stalk the warp, the chaotic realm of psychic energy, spilling into real space to wreak havoc. Planets are battlefields, where legions of Imperial Guardsmen, genetically engineered Space Marines, and fanatical zealots fight desperate battles against overwhelming odds. The air is thick with the stench of promethium and blood, and the only constant is the thunderous roar of war. In this grim darkness, hope is a fragile ember, and survival is a brutal, unending struggle.

What you can expect from me:
- My preferred gender to play is male.
- Around 500 word responses. There maybe more, but rarely less. I try to include details as well as inner monologue of my characters.
- 1-2 responses per week. My time to write is variable based on my work, but I will respond at least this much if not more.
- I do my best to use good grammar and punctuation. By no means am I perfect, but you will always get my best effort.
- OOC chat if you like it. This is something I prefer with a partner because it helps to plan the story better. Not to mention I am just a chatty person.
- Let's steer clear of flawless characters. The most compelling stories have characters with those beautiful flaws that make us human!
- Please give me a good response. One or 2 sentences will make me lose interest quickly. I would rather wait a couple days for a good response than 1 day for a mediocre response.
- Try to post at least once or twice a week. If I have not heard from you in over a week with either a response or OOC I will assume the story has been abandoned.
- Try your best to use good grammar and punctuation. I am no grammar/punctuation police, though I ask you do your best.
- I do not expect anyone to OOC chat with me, but it is preferable especially for planning.
- Please no perfect characters with all kinds of amazing abilities, or "flaws" that are amazing abilities in disguise.
