OK, so I'm not REALLY an introvert. I'm an ENTP, the "most introverted extroverted type" (IDRlabs). But I feel like an introvert most of the time. Only a good debate or a nerdy topic draw me out of my shell. Communication without purpose is pointless. I don't small talk well and starting a conversation is painfully awkward for me. However, I am empathetic, caring, believe the best of everyone and love to help people.

I love to write, good at it or not. I am passionate about character development and a rocky storyline. My favorite genres in order of interest are:
  1. Sci-fantasy.
  2. Steampunk.
  3. Cyberpunk.
  4. Sci-fi.
  5. Fantasy.
My characters start simple but the backstory grows exponentially faster than the actual story. This makes them very three dimensional. I enjoy developing my characters in relationship to others in both leadership and support roles. I like moderately paced roleplaying with occasional flurries that reach an eventual conclusion. I am terrible with open loops.

If you want to know more you'll have to interact with me.

Welcome to the Sanctum, Guidance.

I also like to start my characters simply. I find it more organic to let them grow and develop through play, and it's not unusual for me to start with an idea for a character and find it turning into something very different as I go.

Part of that comes from running Tabletop Roleplaying Games. I'm constantly coming up with NPCs on the fly for the PCs to interact with, and I never quite know what NPCs will stick and which won't. The ones that grab people's interest get more development.

Regardless, enough about me. I'm sure you can find plenty of like minded writers to collaborate with.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I have the same gaming experience, so that it's probably where that comes from.

I love your badge/trophy btw.

Welcome to the Sanctum, Guidance. :D Last I remember i was an INFJ, but It's been a while since I last checked.

Welcome! I am definitely an introvert though I am able to come out of my shell online a bit more. I think it has something to do with not having to deal with people actually staring at me. Also, writing gives me more time to think of what I want to say or what a character will say rather than speaking. :)

I have been here a couple years and think we have a great community on the site. The way things are set up, the possibilities for creativity here are nearly endless. Looking forward to seeing you around the site!

Thanks for the comments! Hope to see you all around in stories. Can someone share some good links to the top stories to read on here? I need something to warm up my writing engines and get a feel for the place.
