Hey, I'm Hyperion or Hyper. Take your pick. I'm 29 and male. Okay, enough with the boring stuff.
I've been writing since I was about 14, although I did take a couple breaks between then and now. I started on forums, went to Discord and now I'm hoping a return to forums will bring a better experience. I written both original and fandom plots with a single partner and even in groups. I've even dabbled in nation RPs.
I typically write fantasy, sci fi, realistic action and espionage thrillers, AUs and post apocalyptic. What I mean by realistic is that they're either historically accurate or accurate to the setting, because that's what it means. That doesn't mean I'm going to force certain historical cultures or events into an RP. Writing the geopolitical tensions of a Cold War espionage thriller is one thing, writing a racist slave owner is another. The second I won't do.
Romance isn't a requirement with me. I won't force a romance into a story because a story doesn't need a romance to be worth writing. If it happens naturally in writing, I'm fine with it.
I only write OCs. I honestly prefer world building and character building over being restricted by canon characters. I will interact with canon characters though.
My fandom list is relatively large, with some niche interests as well.
