Good day to my fellow wanderers of the realm of our imaginations. I do enjoy in-character interactions with like-minded role-players who are capable of collaborating in writing a tale for the ages. For now though, I will do my best to introduce you to the man behind this pen. I have decided to call myself the Goblin King. The name was inspired by the character from the Labyrinth. Besides being able to pull off being masculine while rocking a pair of tights, I appreciate the portrayal of a man with devious power, surrounded by minions, but yet faced with a unique loneliness. I mean it was either Goblin King or Gru.
That being said, I have been around long enough to develop some skill in creating stories and look forward to growing ideas with you. I will write in pretty much any genre if I have a good partner and we can inspire each other in the idea. I do tend to lean toward stories with fantastic elements including sci-fi, urban fantasy, apocalyptic, etc.; avoiding straight slice-of-life scenarios. It has been my experience that bonds become stronger when two people are faced with significant hurdles. Besides, who doesn't enjoy being a space pirate, monster hunter, or zombie horde survivor?
My main characters are primarily strong-willed, filled with dark humor, and borderline infatuated stalker. Just kidding! But that's the sort of thing a stalker would say. Seriously though, they always have some sort of dark element. To what degree can fluctuate over the course of the story and take on various manifestations. Sure, I might be Superman, but that kid vandalizing the old lady's house just hit a nerve, now I am scraping him off of my shiny red boot. That took a weird, dark turn. For Sanctum Rules sake, that kid was 18.
