plot:
⤷ Two groups of two (2 boys and 2 girls/girl&guy/another 2 guys), both won a prize from a lottery that was held in their respective hometown. The prize was a free vacation to NY city where they will be staying in a hotel (St.Regis is the one I'm using for this) and spend their whole week there. Upon arrival, they were given one of the best suites which was none other the grand suite. Though the catch was there only gave each group one room and there was only a king sized bed which was okay to share since each came with their best friend or perhaps beloved? Either way, the first night seemed okay as the two group spent their time around the hotel. There was a nightclub ( I added that), two restaurants, and of course along with a pool and a gym. So, you don't need to get out of the hotel just yet.

However upon the next day, something felt different. The atmosphere and the people there seemed a bit off. It was as if something was watching each of your every move. What's the most weird was that there wasn't a soul that walked past the front door to the lobby, even the elevators couldn't get to the basement from some reason. Also, when one of them do try to walk out of the front door, they would just black out and find themselves back in their hotel room. They were still able to go to the pool that was on the top floor but there seemed to be a fog surrounding the building which made it harder to know what was happening outside the building. Calling 911 didn't work as not only was the whole line cut off, there wasn't a single signal for any of them to reach out to friends or family, the TV had no breaking news whatsoever either. It only played some movies and stuff. So who was there inside the hotel? The hotel staff that wouldn't answer your question, and the club that seemed to be always packed with people with no intention of talking to any of the four. They just won't respond and there was a rather weird look in their eyes. Their skin were always so pale almost corpse like. They also don't seem to be going elsewhere other than the nightclub.

However on that faithful night, the two groups came across each other. Before they could ask or do anything else, there was a growl, coming from all sides (they met at the side of the dance floor). The music had stopped, the crowds had suddenly disappeared, leaving a few people with dark void in their eyes. They were all baring their teeth at the four of them. Surely enough, they ran but got separated from each other, only to try and fight their way back out of the club. When their life was about to slip from their grasps, they felt something coming out from themselves, perhaps a sense of survival? No, not really. It was something different, something that wasn't supposed to be there and that something helped them to fight these weird people away from themselves. And yes, they just discovered that they had powers.

With the world out of their reach and these creatures on their back, will they survive and get out of there alive?

Like some people, Kane is really secretive on personal topics, such as his past, passion and ]etc. He isn't one to be invested on what others likes or dislikes since he would forget unless he really cared. Despite claiming that he doesn't care what others think of him, he can become very self conscious of what he says or does depending on the kind of situation, causing him to think a lot before making a choice (since he is very much impulsive at heart). Most of the time, Kane would come off as a rather fun loving person and would crack a few random jokes now and then. Though, one wrong move and he could go all bitter and salty. Kane tends to overreact on things that simply was nothing but a harmless tease or something of the sort. Emotions are just his worst enemy as he gets carried away most of the time unless he went to hide it or cover it.

However, Kane may be cruel but he isn't totally heartless. When others needs a hand, he'll help even if he seem unwilling to do so unless it is against his pure intentions. He might not seem like it but he does care for others even if he would deny it. It's more of a necessity for his sanity most of the time. Basically he's a hypocrite and wouldn't let others take on his bad habits. Also he hates confrontation and conflict so picking up a fight would be the last thing he would do unless he felt like he really had to. But if someone else tried to pick a fight with him, he wouldn't say no and put up a real fight considering he had quite the pride.

When it comes to romance, Kane is almost adamant about not having any crush since he would hate to see himself playing with others feeling just because he is very hostile of others and would quickly lose his interest on them. Though, secretly, he is trying to find the one at heart which was also one of the few reasons why he wouldn't pursue any of the romantic feelings he had unless he is very much sure that they are the one that he had been looking for. Once that wall is down, he would commit to it and give everything that he could to give. Be it that special treatment, the best friend to get them back on their feet, or just the shoulder that they could cry on. Basically, he would die for them and would wish them well if they were to ever change their mind about him. If it does happen, he would simply think that he didn't find the one just yet or he would just accept the fact that he messed up.

Kane is able to withstand mortal wounds without actually dying. However this results with painful wounds that heals at a rather normal rate. It wouldn't kill him but it is painful. Though a quick death like, beheading and shot in the head will result with him having to die instantly and come back alive about another hour or so without any wounds.

Kane is able to reset a reality or turn back time by killing himself. Though getting killed will not reset anything. the more he uses this, the more consequences will take place such as causing the paradox of time where there will be more shadows in the realm, causing more of those weird people to fight off. and etc. He only uses this as a last resort if things were just so fucked up.

h i s t o r y​

Kane came from a mid to upper class family of four. His life was just full of mundane stuff other than the few vacations that his family took in which he enjoyed very much. Both of his parents were kind of spoiling him and his twin sister (fraternal duh) from all the love they would give. It's a bit irrational since they basically babied him and took care most of the stuff for him. This did cause him to behave rather differently. They were pretty strict with what he would do in the future along with manners, he of course was obedient at the start. But as time went on, he grew apart from his parents and basically rebelled over some of their expectations over him. He would talk back to his father's view of things and would argue a lot over little things as the older male could be absurd and narrow minded. Despite this, he kept an okay relationship with his mother and had a soft spot for his sister even though he was jealous of her being the better person and seemingly able to pull through the madness better than him.

Then high school rolled in and Kane tried his best to fit in. Though his attempts seemed to be futile when he eventually became one of the troublemakers. He went to parties and picked up fights with big headed jocks along with fake people. By then, every single student seemed to despise him as well, which was pretty much mutual. Aside from all of the negativity he received from his neighborhood, he decided to go on the internet and chat with strangers. Behind the screen and a fresh start, Kane felt more calmer and not bitter at all. He was just trying to get himself sane and pull himself out of the label that others deliberately gave him. To be fair, he spent most of his time in the chatroom just to have a sense of control of how he wanted others to know him as. This helped him to separate himself with his own problems. And well, he felt somewhat belonged in that circle of friends which did kept him in touch with the others.

When he had to move out for college, things just kind of went silent between him and the rest of the world. He spent more time out of the internet. No, he wasn't busy with college or anything like that. He was just out on the street and going to local rock concerts. He was kind of trying to reach out to others in real life. Though, he did ended up meeting someone that stayed with him for awhile. The two went on a break when Kane had his life all over the place and the other had to go somewhere else. This kind of strained their relationship since Kane couldn't reach them which didn't really had much impact until the days started to wear on him. In the end, Kane went to isolate himself and tried to get his head straight. He went on taking care of his studies and made new friends around him. And ever since then, he seemed to have found a bit of solace from his past. Though, he still missed that special person of his since it wasn't like they broke up. But, he did knew that he might not be able to be with them again which he personally wished that it wouldn't be the case. Especially when he was able to get himself back on his feet for them. There was a sense of hope that he would be able to meet them again soon.

= Kane doesn't have any mental disorder. However, he was once suspected to show a few symptoms of Bipolar, psychotic (not psychopathic), depression and schizophrenia ( nothing that correlates to his high hostility however) by his psychiatrist. Though, Kane would only admit that he can come off as overly sensitive and even delusional towards some beliefs that he wouldn't ever share.
= For the life of him, Kane couldn't play a single musical instrument. Though, he is somewhat good when it comes to singing.
= Kane is a definitely a drinker ( but a sober one ) but he was never a drug user. At least not when he has a weak and weird stomach.
= his definition of getting high is getting lightheaded in which he would get from either drinking carbonated water aka soda or from just inhaling some smoke be it carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide (whatever goes).

Personality: Outgoing and humorous in nature,
SJ spends the majority of her time playing as the comedian/entertainment of her friend group back home. What? She likes the attention and surprisingly the people like her, so in her eyes, it's a win/win situation.Though, sometimes all of these laughing matters provide her with the inability to take things seriously in the first place. She could be lying on her deathbed, gasping for air, but instead uttering "your mom" as her final words. Though, that's not to say that she's a TOTAL clown, in fact, she can be a bit of a hothead, almost scarily so. It all depends on the situation, for SJ can switch from persona to persona in a matter of seconds, transitioning from the spirited, fun-loving young woman to an intelligent detective all the way down to a deadly mama bear should fate come to test her. In fact, her unpredictability makes her most eccentric, for no one truly knows which side they'd get to witness first(hopefully it's the former) nor no one is ever certain how she will react to certain things. After all, she may put on a face and laugh it off, but subconsciously her mind will already be shifting gears, looking to solve the problem at hand.

Powers/Abilities: Telekinesis. SJ acquires the ability to move objects of a smaller scale with just the impactful energy of her raging mind. For now she can only do so much as throw or catch weaponry such as knives or handguns, as she has trouble staying completely focused and synced with her own thoughts alongside the chaotic environment. Super strength. Now this had come as a real shocker, after all, mainly those of the male sex in those damned geek-books (comics) have the same exact ability, never really a woman. However, when she realized the fact, she took full advantage of her relatively small and deceitful size. Tricking those into thinking that she was weak, easy to kill, only to be met with the mighty fists of a she-hulk-esque strength mixed with the rage of a great white shark. Boo yeah.

Habits: We all have 'Em. And unfortunately, they're very hard to break.

• Averting eye-contact. When SJ gets nervous, she can never truly look someone in the eyes, instead her own shifting to the floor or just past their head
  
  
• Constantly running her fingers through her hair. It's more of an anxiety-driven thing, as the woman uses her soft locks just how as one would use a stress ball or a fidget-spinner (oh god, do y'all remember those?)
  
  
• Biting her lip. Not in a sexy, seductive nor cute way. But more so, she does it when in deep thought, often having bleeding or punctured lips as a result. "Crusty lips" in her words

History:

From the windy city of Chicago, IL. SJ had come from a detached family of just three. Her, her mother and her father. It was quite a boring life if we're being honest, her parents weren't particularly invested in her life as she was in theirs, unfortunately. They were diplomats- or something of the sort, she didn't really understand exactly what they did. All she really did know was that she had the house to her self at least 5 days a week- weeks at a time even. And what did she do during that time? You may ask. Well, absolutely nothing. Because, as shocking as it may seem, SJ doesn't have many friends. Well, not enough to throw parties, sneak out and all of that rebellious stuff. It's quite pathetic, really. But due to the fact that her parents moved around a lot throughout her time growing up (because of work), it was hard to make friends in the first place. She was almost always 'the new kid,' almost always unfamiliar with her surroundings, with her peers. Does she resent her parents for that? Absolutely. Does she hate them? Absolutely not. In fact, there are times when she misses them more than being able to drink milk (she's lactose intolerant) misses those nights when they sing along to the radio in the kitchen, cook dinner with her mother and dance with her father. She misses not being alone. "jeSUS what a fucking Debbie-downer."
