Hello everyone, you can call me Jackie and I am someone who enjoys the craft of writing and examining how characters interact and how a story can develop far from the plot it originated.
I have been roleplaying for close to 13 years now and have truly grown to love the medium as a form of expression and to further expand my knowledge on characters who exist in movies or shows. I really enjoy the chance to be able to take my hand at portraying them how I've viewed them or exploring different emotional aspects of characters and how they react, interact in whatever plots or scinaros that may arise in a Roleplay. I enjoy the "what-ifs" of what could have been or may have been when it comes to some media that really peques my interest. I have a certain ebb and flow to my interests, but something that will always keep me interested is a well progressing story.
In my years of experience I've always kept relatively constant when it comes to communication and that's what I feel helps any roleplay thrive into being more and allows myself and a roleplay partner to grow closer OOC as well. Having said that, I understand life happens and I will never haggle someone for a response if times get busy, something happens that causes a disinterest, or just life happens; all I ask is, if one is able to, to please do their best to be honest. This doesn't mean, one needs to disclose personal information about what may be going on, but a simple, I'll try to get back to this later, or a simple message about how you feel will suffice. In turn, I will always do my best to be as honest and as open as I can with my availability or interest in how a story is going.
In regard to my interests in topics, I have a wide range of genres that span from romance, drama, sci-fi, fantasy, action/adventure, and things of the like. I tend to lean towards roleplaying existing characters but if I find a story that requires an OC due to a potential Roleplay partner's preference, I can create a character for that story. I enjoy any pairings but tend to lean towards MxM, but can do MxF and am fine with trying FxF if it is something that comes up.
Also, I do enjoy writing smut as long as it doesn't take over the story to a large capacity. Having it sprinkled but also not end too quickly is what I find works best so there can be an equal focus on whatever the main focus of the plot itself is around. There may be frequent of spicy content at times, which I won't shoot down from happening, but balance is key.
