Greetings ! I am posting on here for the first time in a bit with an opening for writing partners !
A bit about myself, late 20s dude who travels a lot for work, I write this from a hotel in Orlando on yet another work project ! My work affords me plenty of opportunities to write, though they may be intermittent at times. I have been writing for over fifteen years now, and I will say that it has recently become one of my more favorable hobbies ! Here is a rapid fire list of common things I seen in request threads.
- I write a multitude of characters in stories, but my main character will always be Male.
- My favored qualities in a writing partner are: Someone that is willing to discuss in OOC about the story (I like to ensure we stay on a path we both enjoy), someone literate, grammar errors within reason because I know they happen from time to time, and they are descriptive in their writing !
- I do not have an issue with writing Smut, but I do have a very story heavy lean in my writing.
- Romance is a must for me in stories. Long term stories are my preference but if you want romance to be a slow burn or rekindled flame I am open to suggestions.
- My preferred genres are : Fantasy(LOTR not Vampires/Werewolves), High Fantasy, Medieval, Medieval Fantasy, Science fiction, Apocalyptic/Dystopian, Action, Adventure thrown in for good measure :)
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
My responses vary from 300-1500 words. My starters usually lean on the high side of that, because I enjoy building a world and painting a nice picture when introducing it. I do not expect people to mirror. When we communicate in OOC we can designate than what lengths and schedules look like.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
I do not mind Violence when it is necessary for the story. I do not mind darker themes in fantasy roleplay, but I am fine with keeping things lighter as well.
As for pairings and themes, I do not have any in mind because I usually craft them at the time of discussion. If you have an urge to write fantasy, and are open to world building, adventure, action and romance shoot me a message ! We can discuss a pairing you might have in mind or I can message a few that usually hover in my mind.
When it comes to face claims, I tend to use whatever comes to mind or fits my partners preference. Lately I have used Rege Jean Page a lot, all you Bridgerton fans out there need to calm down haha. But in all seriousness, I am open to anything from anime images to drawn art, realistic is fine as well. Just give me a good written description to work with and I can roll with the story.
