Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to open up my little intro thread. I have been traversing the internet for an active roleplay community that housed potential partners who would share similar tastes in genres and kinks as I do. It may be a hard ask due to one of my more 'unique' kinks, which I consider one of my favorites, but I digress. Hopefully, I can discover a gentleman or lady who shares a few points of interest as me on here
. Now, on with the show!
Firstly, I will share a few details about my experience in roleplaying and how I have been molded to enjoy literacy and attention to detail. I was an avid reader as a child and enjoyed reading all the books that most likely made up many people's childhoods here. Books like Fablehaven, Five Kingdoms, Beast Quest, Harry Potter, and many more started my gradual development into someone who likes eloquence and writing. I got into roleplaying by finding the niche communities of popular games that would craft stories concerning the characters of the video game or merely use the platform as a place to make up their fun ideas. I'd say I have been roleplaying seriously for nearly a decade and have discovered what makes me enjoy myself.
I am a novella-length writer, but everyone seems to have different definitions of what that means. As a rule, I will do no less than four paragraphs with each of my replies, making me a reasonably competent writer in writing out the details of a character's reactions and the intensity or importance of a scene. I prefer stories that take place in a modern setting and are realistic in tone, and even though that may sound tame, that is about the extent of how 'vanilla' my tastes are. The tropes I heavily favor are anything taboo, dark, and forbidden, which means that I am open to any relationship or role and won't be turned off by ideas involving incest, age gaps, or anything similar.
I am not strict about only creating modern and realistic stories. I am willing to go out of my comfort zone and do a genre with more sci-fi, fantastical, or medieval ideas—all I ask is that the concept is interesting and fleshed out enough for me to enjoy it!
I hope to find a writing partner that I have been zealously searching for here!
