Hey there,
I'm an enthusiastic writer with over 18 years of experience crafting narratives that thrive on complexity, realism, and emotional grit. My stories live in the gray areas—where flawed characters navigate moral ambiguity, tangled relationships, and high-stakes conflicts...
And lesbians! (lol) Being queer myself, I just love a good hating on men (not all, I promise) in writing. In all seriousness, though: I just like writing about women because that's the perspective I know the most.
I write to explore what happens when good people make bad choices… and bad people dare to hope.
I specialize in blending crime, suspense, and drama (think gritty police procedurals, political intrigue, or urban slice-of-life) with dashes of slow-burn romance and dark humor. And because I like torturing my characters, I like to dial a bit back in the time machine so not to make it all that easy with them: that is, no cellphones and before DNA became a thing. And even at a time when it was kind of complicated to navigate the world as a lesbian I guess. (If it is not already the case.) My characters are often sharp, layered women in their 30s-40s—cynical detectives, ambitious antiheroes, or everyday people pushed to extraordinary limits. Think a jaded futchy detective vibes: quiet intensity, wit, and a refusal to shy away from messy truths.
When I'm not writing, you'll find me over-caffeinated, dissecting another TV show Gillian Anderson stars in, or obsessing over how to make a character's flaws their greatest weapon. Also, re quoting Hannibal or Gone Girl is a specialty of mine.
If you're into slow-burn tension, morally gray heroines, and stories that linger long after the last word—let's chat!
Anyway, see you.
