Introduction

I am back and searching after taking a longer break. Lately I had the creative bug that's been scratching my brain and I've been really wanting to do some writing. I'll keep this post pretty straight to the point.

Types of writers and characters I'm seeking

Mainly I'm seeking to pair up against male characters, while I play female roles as I always like to include romantic content, but I'll get into that later on. Your gender is completely unimportant to me, what matters is that we hit it off and creatively match. But I'm also the type who includes multiple characters in my writing, as well. The types of characters I'm looking for always depend on the current craving I'm having, so be sure to read what I have in mind!

I am 30, so I will prefer my partner to be more up in the age range, as well.

Writing

I seek partners with a similar style of writing to my own. My posts are usually multiple paragraphs to novella length long, as I like to get into detail. I love to get into character dynamics and character development. The more complex it becomes, the better.

Now, even if I do post pretty lengthy posts, I don't expect it to be as such for every post, as it takes away from some scenes. Maybe we'll have a few lines when characters are having a conversation or even a battle.

With that said, in writing I prefer quality and detail rather than just length. Things like world-building is always more than welcome, it only may slow the process for me, but if you have no issue with it, then we'll be good.

Here is my writing sample. I'd love to see yours too!

Activity

I am engaged, a cat mom with a full time job and also being a part-time housewife while trying to maintain my real life responsibilities. I have no set schedule for writing and sometimes my energy can be sapped a bit or I am just simply busy. My activity can easily vary, from multiple weekly posts to one post a week to maybe every other week. If I want to do a story with good quality, I will not force myself to do it when I'm not in the mood for it. This is a hobby, if I can't give you a juicy morsel because I'm too busy or having a rough day, I won't rip off the good writing experience from you. So I am seeking someone patient and understanding - as I am too. The greatest writers take hiatuses and breaks from writing their masterpieces. And we, the regular folk, will definitely have those moments too.

With that said, I'm RARELY active during the weekends. So if you don't hear from me during the weekends, don't worry, I'll get back to you on monday.

I'm ghost friendly. Like I mentioned earlier, this is a hobby. It's not that serious, despite being attached, sometimes some stuff are not meant to be. I'm cool with people who ghosted me and come back after a while. I don't take this shit personally.

Mature content

I don't like sugar-coating, fading to black or 'insinuate' anything. This goes for violence, erotica and profanity. I like raw experiences in writing.

That said, when it comes to NSFW stuff, I like to have it in the story BUT I don't want to center it around the story. The more slowburn, the better. I'm not looking for smut centered content. I'm looking for romance when it's appropriate in the story. Don't force anything.

I had a lot of messages of people offering to play pairings that are mostly smut focused, and I will say right now that I'm not interested. I need stories with substance and nuance.

If I get another CEO x secretary, step-mom x step-son, model x photographer, type requests or anything of similar fashion, I'll puke.

Plot content

Drama, intrigue, conflict, complications, action, adventure, slowburn, forbidden romance, character development - no matter what the genre is, I like to spice things up with some twists and turns like reading a novel. I love when my writing partner and I can sit and plan, whether it is world and story building or coming up with plot/character ideas, I do like it when I vibe with my partner to the point where we can throw some surprises and twists and each other. Naturally, some things should be discussed beforehand, but I would be lying if I didn't make excited and shocked audible reactions when my partner just pulled a surprising move or twist that could affect characters' development. Like reading a novel when you come to a twist that just has you at the edge of your seat.

I also like having side characters. I will always make some myself and would be preferred if you do the same.

I will say, I love inhuman male characters for the right setting. It can stem from a vampire, werewolf, metahuman or trickster, to Qunari, orcs, and weird aliens.

Face claims

I like to use them and I'd love for you to use them as well. I just don't like anime/manga-esque faceclaims. I prefer real life references or realistic art. I also like to use images from time to time as well for outfits, environment, music that might set the scene etc.

Plot settings

  • Medieval medium fantasy
  • Modern fantasy
  • Modern supernatural
  • Slice of Life (this one requires drama) for example: American college (this one is bound to have a lot of stuff going on)
  • Crime
  • Cyberpunk

Fandoms

  • Vampire the Masquerade (modern day specifically)
  • Final Fantasy 7 (Crisis Core comes with it)
  • Dragon Age (up to Veilguard, did not play it, nor do I plan to)
  • Skyrim
  • Game of Thrones
  • Avatar (Not the Airbender, but James Cameron's movies)
  • World of Warcraft

Maturity

The subtitle should speak for itself. If you don't know what I mean by this, we probably won't mesh well.

My characters and some plot ideas

Settings: Modern day SOL, supernatural (VtM setting included), can also be used in a cyberpunk setting as well

Arguably my currently favorite character to play. She is fun, messy and all over the place. Romance with her is complicated, but not impossible. In supernatural setting, she would be a vampire. She is a thrill seeker and someone who gets herself in trouble, and she likes it.

Paired with:
  • New bad boy in the college with elusive history
  • A cop
  • Someone involved in the underground criminal world
  • Jock bully
  • Another supernatural individual
  • Supernatural version of Joker and Harley pairing
  • Cowboy in her small hometown
  • Obsessed masked stalker (messy dark romance)

This doesn't imply to all pairings mentioned above, but if you wanna play into Megan's type, I can share a few FCs as examples.

Setting: Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition

A feisty assassin with a specific moral code. A complex history. As fiery as she is, she had been through hell and back, and she is a newly assigned leader of the assassin organization. She had grown up as an orphan in Ferelden, only to discover that she is a Hawke, which complicates things - being a noble is the last thing she wanted to be.

The plot:
- It starts in Dragon Age 2. The Tome of Koslun had ended up in her organization's possession after raiding Isabela's ship, however someone from her group decided to use this Tome for nefarious reasons. Frances wanted to bring the Tome back to the Qunari to finish this problem in Kirkwall, but she knew she had to lie to Arishok and tell him that they know who has it, rather that they had it in their possession before arriving to Kirkwall. Your character, a Qunari, is appointed by the Arishok to join Frances in finding the man who took the Tome. In the end of the events of Dragon Age 2, YC becomes a Tal-Vashoth and it all leads to the events where he becomes the Herald of Andraste.

Setting: Medieval fantasy

Regina is meant for a Game of Thrones-y and Skyrim setting. A woman with the blood of a dragon, something more akin to Targaryens, though her bloodline is entirely different. I do like he idea of pairing her up with inhuman characters.

Plot ideas:

- Princess in a northern kingdom gets taken by the enemy forces to be used as a blackmail against her mad father. Her role starts off as a woman against the rest of the world before coming to power with the help of her enemies.

- A dragon priestess has been presented a dragon egg. Dragons are akin to divine entities that people now deem as demons. The dragon egg is not just an egg that holds a baby dragon inside, but an omen that activates a curse and revives the dead dragons and the chaos begins. Dragon priests are seen as dangerous demon worshippers, which couldn't be further from the truth.

Setting: Medieval fantasy, intrigue, pirates

An elusive character who is a well-known assassin with a hidden and important identity. A seductive killer. In some installments she is a pirate, as well. Never takes her mask off and uses a fake name. Another fun and messy character.

Plot ideas:

  • Someone had been replicating her assassination style, however, the people that are being killed by this mystery copycat are very deliberately picked, and it is connected to her true identity, one she may or may not be aware of.
  • Julienne is being accompanied by a man (could be a knight/soldier, mercenary or something like that) to find an important and expensive artifact. The man she's accompanied by is someone with strong morals, honor and is serious, compared to the lively and messy nature of Julienne. This quest also links to the discovering her heritage and identity that changes the political climate in the story once this artifact is discovered.
