Narrative

Clementine is from an upper-middle class family. Growing up, she loved all things related to art and would go to museums with her father. She is an adept ballerina and has a natural grace and fluidity to her movements when she dances (despite being somewhat clumsy and awkward in her day-to-day life). She loves music and is not often far from her headphones. She is a very skilled painter and excels with impressionism and expressionism in particular. Painting to her is the best way to express her emotions.

She was accepted to a prestigious art school with numerous scholarships, but not enough to fully pay her way, so she needed to get a job working at an art supply store to help make ends meet. Between the job and a fairly generous stipend from her parents, she found herself a nice apartment and was living comfortably.

At university, she met another woman and the two began a relationship. Clementine started to understand why she had never been interested in dating boys in high school, and while she still has lots of friends who are men, she finds that the line of "friendship" rarely gets crossed. But not never.

At the end of her third year of her degree, her parents saw her holding hands with another woman in a park and confronted her. They did not approve of her budding identity and she was disowned from the family. She was cut off from her family in all ways, and this led to a very slow but sure eating away of her money. These stresses led to the collapse of her relationship. For almost a year she has been trying to find ways to financially balance her life as it is, but there was no way to do so and so she has needed to seek out a roommate to try and avoid going broke.
