Hello. I'm Nox.

I joined without any real plan. I remember online role-playing for the first time back in 2000 or so and it became a regular hobby of mine for six or seven years. I have a lot of fond memories of that time. I also remember a lot of taverns and forests. I joined my first forum around 2012 and was fairly active there for a few years, but I wasn't very productive. I was also young and pissed at the world. Now it's been almost 10 years since I've done any sort of role-playing or even writing and I find myself waxing nostalgic. Even if I don't get back into the role-playing side of things, I'd like to at least start writing again. Storytelling is what I really miss and now more so than ever I find myself in need of a creative outlet.

I don't know how to talk about myself without info-dumping my entire life. I like reading and listening to music... See what I mean? I've been told that I can sometimes come across as unapproachable. I prefer the word aloof because it makes me sound eccentric instead of pretentious. And if you ever don't understand my humor, don't fret. I'm not very funny.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​

Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then!
