This is a request for a story within the Legend of Zelda series but set in my own custom setting. This is one of the few fandoms where I enjoy writing as canon characters, so the stories will take place between Zelda and Link. For this I also have specific stories in mind but would discuss other stories, changes to it or a wide range of things. I don't want to re-tell an existing story from one of the entries in the franchise, though, but I'm not against using a particular entry as a backbone or world for an original story.
~~ Lost Shrines
Zelda is a priestess of Ganon once again. Along with others, she is sent to investigate rumors of an old lost temple. Her group finds the temple but also finds it to be quite deadly. She is one of the few who escape alive. Link is a wandering mercenary who happens nearby, and Zelda recruits him to go into the temple with her to unlock its secrets and treasures. What they find is brings questions about the world they live in, how it is supposed to be. The two go their separate ways, but Zelda is sent off once more to investigate another rumor, given her success the first time. This time, she hunts down Link to employ him once more. The next temple brings even more questions, some truths and enough to have the pair start to hunt down temples and lost shrines on their own, piecing together the truths of Hyrule, Ganondorf and themselves.
~~Remnants of the Goddess
This one will seem a bit obvious to those that know the lore. Link is an elite warrior among the highlanders in Ganondorf's army. He is dispatched to follow up on predictions of a goddess's remnants in an area. Several of these have popped up, and Ganondorf is taking them seriously. Along with others, he is sent to an area of the Lost woods. Enlisting the help of a young local woman as a guide, Link searches the area and braves the dangers there and finds more than just a remnant of the goddess... but his guide, Zelda, may be more important than previously thought.
~~ Memories of Each Other
This story revolves very heavily around Link and Zelda alone. Sexual encounters are also more prominent in this story. The premise is that Link and Zelda are on a quest together, but they are having difficulties with it. Praying to Hylia, Zelda receives the cryptic information to remember her selves. Not herself, but her selves. This cryptic information does not aid them initially. One night, Link and Zelda are, for whatever reason, fallen asleep in each other's arms. That night they both dream the same dream: the two of them in a very steamy situation, though they aren't necessarily themselves but seem to be in a different place, different scenario altogether, but they recognize each other eaily. Neither talk about it the next morning. It happens again, but only when they manage to fall asleep holding each other somehow. If they just manage to hold hands, then the scene is far milder. The closer they are, the more intense the scene. Each time, the situation is very different but the act is… still the same. And each time more of the scene is shown before and after, conversations and such. This eventually shows them the key to their quest but, more importantly, shows them their own love for each other that they've often put aside for the sake of their duties.
I'm definitely open to other LoZ ideas, changes to the story above or something new. It is a specific craving at the moment, yes, I understand that. I'm wanting a Zelda story/roleplay, and that's all I'm looking for at the moment, at least that's all I'm putting down in this request thread.

More about me:
- I'm a descriptive writer, I believe. I tend to reply in lengths that are necessary, from handful of sentences to several thousand words. I don't match lengths and don't expect my partners to do so. I post what I feel is necessary, not some arbitrary number of lines or paragraphs.
- I strive for grammatical... understanding. I will proofread and strive for some quality and want the same from my partners. I will run on sentences (or splice them) like there's no tomorrow, or I'll fragment them like a chef prepping a carrot for curry. But I will be otherwise grammatically acceptable. I don't use Oxford commas. I like first person present tense but just fine with third person past and prefer that when multiple characters are involved. I accept that first/present is not well-liked by everyone, so I'm not going to be super picky about that. But if you can tolerate or like 1st/present, let's do this!
- What I do expect from my partners is a passion for the role play, the story, the character development and ample PM discussion. I love keeping the conversation going about what's next for the story. I can easily get over plenty of other issues as long as we're communicating about what's coming up, tossing new ideas around and having fun building a world for our peeps.
- Sexual content for me is something as needed. I'll rarely have a story or longing for something smut-based. I can easily go without, fade to black or be explicit. If you like sexual content, just let me know and we'll talk about how much, where, when, etc.
- I also format my posts like they were taken from the pages of a novel.
If this site takes indents pasted from Word, then indents galore!(It doesn't...) What this really means is that I will use paragraphs to isolate single ideas. I will begin character speech at the beginning of a new paragraph or in the lead of the paragraph. I will never put more than one speaker in a paragraph and won't start speaking in the middle of a paragraph. I expect my partners to do the same. It's one of my pet-peeves: seeing dialog start in the middle of a monstrous paragraph and even more so when another character answers in the same paragraph. I'm going to be a bitchy stickler with this. I apologize ahead of time. It's important to me... so please make this effort.
A descriptive way to describe the room and what's in it, in a way that perfectly paints a picture as to what it was like when someone walks into the room. "Hello?" he said, mixing past and present tenses. "I'm armed, just sayin'." And it was offensive to put the dialog in the middle of this paragraph, but, oh, that didn't stop this particular writer, no. "You have been expected," a mysterious voice says from no where in particular, once again reverting to present tense, which is an offense against my delicate sense...s. "I also used second person." And there's two people speaking in this paragraph. A paragraph should never contain dialog after the first sentence.A descriptive way to describe the room and what's in it, in a way that perfectly pains a picture as to what it's like to walk into it. The contents of the room are important in this particular scene as they tell a little about who owns the room.
"Hello?" he asks out into the stillness of the room, avoiding the change in tenses. "I'm armed, just sayin'."
"You have been expected," a mysterious voice says from nowhere in particular, maintaining still the present tense. "And I didn't expect this example to keep going on like this."
But, as one can see, it is necessary to show good and bad examples.
- I have been role playing (tabletop and online) and cooperative storytelling for many years now. I've done multiple characters, multiple viewpoints, a wide range of various genres and topics and stories and am always willing to at least give something a try but will be honest with how things are going. I enjoy receiving constructive criticism and will provide such as well on a regular basis if you're alright with it.
