Clark, Alice Louise (mom; deceased)- It's unfortunate that Alice passed away when Lilith was still a baby. She never got to know her daughter or watch her grow. She never knew what kind of life her sister would give her child. Perhaps she had hoped for a reconciliation and sent her daughter as a sign of trust and apology. Please keep her safe.
Alice was born the youngest daughter of Pastor Clark and his wife. When their mother passed away, both Alice and Holly stepped up to both help their father as well as keep the house. Meals were Alice's particular chore, along with keeping the kitchen clean and laundry. Holly was in charge of the rest of the house, though they left the bathrooms and outside to the pastor. Everything proceeded smoothly in this way and the girls were very close to one another as they grew up.
In school, Alice was on the honor roll and participated in numerous extracurricular activities. She was secretary of the student council, a member of the school bake club, and was a part of the school choir, along with Holly. She had a small group of friends that she spent the weekends with.
When Alice graduated, she opted to attend college out of state, leaving behind a few of her friends, as well as her family, as Holly remained in state. Here, Alice thrived, becoming her own person and emerging from the shadows of her father's judgement and her sister's ideals. She made new friends while retaining her old ones and even found love. Unfortunately, hard times came for her. She became pregnant with her only child and while her lover remained long enough to see his child come into the world and to give her his name, he soon vanished without a trace.
Alice returned home, a single mother at the age of nineteen. Though he never judged her for it, there is speculation that the pastor resented her for leaving college and returning home with a bastard. Instead, he opened his home to his youngest and helped her as best as he could. Holly, on the other hand, heavily resented both Alice and Lilith. She referred to the baby as the Devil's spawn and would have nothing to do with her. Nor would Holly's husband, Dominic. When Pastor Clark passed away, everything except for the house and a few other items went to Holly and Dominic. Alice remained in her childhood home until her twenty-first birthday, when she was killed by a drunk driver on her way home.
Unknown (father; possibly alive)- No one knows the name of the man that Alice fell in love with, but everyone remembers him for his looks. Dark haired and gray eyed, he had the attention of everyone when he walked into a room. People fell easily for him, due to his charm and his personality. Very few will say anything bad about him, outside of pointing out that he had abandoned his lover. Perhaps she was a mistress and he had returned home to a wife and family. No one can say for sure.
Clark-Thorn, Holly Maddison (aunt; deceased)- Holly Clark-Thorn was the eldest daughter of Pastor Clark and his wife, born just five years before Alice. When Alice was born, she loved her little sister and swore to keep her safe. A promise that the five year old took seriously. As the two girls grew up, they remained close, with Holly guiding and teaching her sister. When Mrs. Clark passed away, Holly was only twelve years old and stepped up as best as she could at that age. The two girls did everything they could to make things easier for their dad. Holly took over most of the housework and left the responsibilities of the kitchen and laundry to Alice. It was trial and error for a time, but they eventually fell into a routine that continued until Alice went to college.
In school, Holly was an exceptional student and was on the honor roll all through high school. She was a cheerleader, a part of the student council, and a member of the school's book club. Outside of school, she was in charge of the church's nursery along with two others. It was in church that she met Dominic.
After high school, she attended a local college for religious studies and participated in the various bible groups that were run by the students. She continued to see Dominic and accepted his proposal the year he graduated college. The two were married after she finished school and moved into a house close to where Pastor Clark remained.
Holly kept in contact with her sister, though she immediately disowned Alice when the younger sister became pregnant out of wedlock. Dominic refused to even see her and the two kept their distance, even though Pastor Clark did what he could to support his youngest daughter. When the good pastor passed away, Dominic took over the congregation while Holly stepped up as his second. The two remained this way until Alice passed away, leaving little Lilith to their care.
Years later, both the pastor and his wife were found dead and the only suspect was their niece, who was only six or seven at the time.
Thorn, Dominic Abraham (uncle; deceased)- Dominic Thorn was born as the middle child of five. His elder siblings were around six to seven years older than him while his younger siblings were closer in age to him: two to three years younger. Their parents were influential members of the community, with their father working as the president of the local bank and their mother as a secretary at her brother's law firm. The five children grew up relatively comfortably. They never lacked for anything and thrived in academics.
The family of seven were active in the local church and volunteered where they could. As the five children grew up, they started deciding where they would take their studies after high school. Dominic's elder sister went into nursing while his elder brother worked at the bank as a loan officer. His younger sister went into teaching and his younger brother joined the military. Dominic himself threw himself into religious studies and became a favorite of Pastor Clark. Here, he met Holly and the two of them dated when she began college.
After marriage, the pair bought a house close to Holly's childhood home and began their lives there. He was part of the reason Holly cut contact with Alice after her pregnancy, wanting nothing to do with an unwed mother with little to no morals. He didn't support Pastor Clark's insistence in taking care of his daughter, but he also didn't say anything to the man. When Pastor Clark passed away, he left the church and the congregation in what he felt was good hands. Alice's passing only a short time later brought Lilith into their lives.
Years later, the two were found dead in their home, without a true cause or even suspect, outside of Lilith herself.
