Hello all!
The name is Lady_botz. Call me Lady, or Botz or anything that comes to mind really.
I'm here searching for another roleplaying partner as my schedule had made room for one more lucky soul :D
I've been roleplaying for 10+ years, on and off. Sites die, life consumes my time, new sites are found, etc. Thankfully this has become a more consistent hobby of mine after finding this lovely place!
I'm happy to chat OOC and become friends with my partners. Though I can be a bit shy at first, I'll open up quickly and happily chat about life.

Here's the basics:
  • Romance is a must in my stories though they don't have to be the main focus. I actually prefer that they be an underlying plot.
  • I only roleplay MxF pairings, happy to play either side.
  • Doubling is highly preferred but not required. I love to give the chance for both of us to play each side of a relationship.
  • I'm not interested in writing smut or anything extremely graphic. Out of respect for my IRL partner and just a personal preference, I'd rather fade to black once it gets too steamy.
  • I welcome all romantic situations that can induce butterflies or make my kick my feet like a lovesick schoolgirl so bring on the slow burn, subtle touches and compliments!
  • I don't mind gore or violence. Trauma makes for some interesting characters if done right! Just don't write gore for the sake of gore, make it interesting to read but let's not beat a dead horse.
  • My replies vary in length, usually 300-1400 words. My longer replies are usually split if I'm playing two characters. I'll try to mirror my partners post length as best I can.
  • I try to reply at least every few days or once a week at the latest. I stalk the site regularly but finding the time to actually sit and write out a reply can be tricky at times. I'll always try and let my partner know when I'll be gone for longer but feel free to reach out if you feel I've ignored you for too long!
  • I'll reply to messages within a day or two, much faster than my post replies.

Plots:
I don't have anything specific at the moment, though I am currently obsessed with The Walking Dead and RDR2. I won't do any cannon characters, but those settings and worlds are very welcome at this time.
(Fair warning, I'm at the end of season 5 of The Walking Dead, so any plot past then that may spoil something is off limits)

I love fantasy, medieval, romance, western, royalty, and dystopian themes so hit me with whatever you got! Or we can make a plot up together.
I try to stay away from slice of life, modern, space, or historical plots. Let's use this story to escape the life we live by adding a bit of magic!
I'm a big sucker for dark/evil male characters (think the Govenor from TWD <3) and would love to do something where a girl falls for a bad guy and is constantly denying the fact he's bad/evil despite what everyone tells her.
If you have a character that needs a world or a world that needs characters, hit me up, let's make something!

I think that's about it! I hope it's not too much rambling. If you have questions or need clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out! I like to think I'm very friendly and try hard to stay open minded.

Of course! Here's two. One from a current roleplay and another from one that's on pause.

As the prince was escorted from the hall, the entirety stood in silence. Heavy and still and only relenting once the doors had closed behind him. Alexandra was looking to her father the moment the dragon prince was out of sight. As usual he dawned another polite grin as he turned to the new couple.

"Do forgive this odd intrusion, Maeson. It's was most unexpected." Andrew started, his words feeling extremely out of place after the scene that just played. "I'll have some men take you to your room and everything will go as planned." Andrew looked to Alex briefly, silently commanding his daughter to behave and act accordingly.

Maeson nodded back and looked to Alex. "I'm excited to start this union with you" he forced a smile over his lips and offered a stiff handshake to the girl. Alex looked down to his hand, disturbed by the formality but forced to accept regardless. "Of course.." she breathed as she took his hand. Men quickly came and took maeson as well as the queen from the hall.

Andrew had already started towards his study, nearly disappearing behind a small door before Alex caught sight of him. "Dad wait!" Alex took off after her father who brushed her call off easily. She followed him quickly, almost reaching a slow jog as his determined pace was hard to keep up with. "What's going on? Why is the dragon prince here?"

Andrew kept his gaze forward, brow furrowed steeply. "Don't stick your nose into matters that don't concern you" he warned cooly, reaching his study and entering quickly. Alex followed him inside despite the attempt to dismiss her. The room was a decent size, a large window sitting behind a thick wooden desk. A plush chair sat somewhat askew behind the desk, papers and other documents laying haphazardly over the surface. Book cases lined the wall with years of written history and rules of the kingdom. But sitting in the middle of the desk was the sealed document from Kaelen. It seemed to glow as if a soft spotlight illumanted it. The paper itself looked hot and crisp. "This will concern me. As the next ruler of this kingdom" she retorted, closing the door behind her. She kept herself beside the door, ready to leave if her father's temper turned hot. But she was stubborn and terribly curious, wanting to know what was going on.

She stood there quietly, watching the king pull the scroll into his hands and read it without another word. This wasn't unusual. When her father was dealing with something unexpected or stressful, he often turned on what Alex called his "selective hearing". But it seemed only used against her at times. Alex leaned against the door and frowned. Why was he still trying to shield her from the conflicts of running a kingdom? Was he still viewing her as the little girl he raised? No doubt. Thankfully he hadn't invited maeson to join him when reading the note, that would have been far too insulting for Alex to keep her cool.

Slowly the stress and confusion on Andrew's face shifted to worry, then surprise and finally anger. "Dad..." Alex spoke softly, worried what the note contained. It wasn't often something could stirr her father so plainly. He was good at hiding his emotions for the most part. But here he was showing them plain as day.

Suddenly Andrew slammed the document onto his desk, rattling the other objects laying on the desk. He moved to the door and Alex was quick to move out of the way. The king opened the door and instructed the guard near by to fetch the waiting prince. During this command, Alex was able to sneak behind the desk and read the note for herself. Suddenly the mix of strong emotions from her father made sense. Similar emotions played over Alex's face and when the study door closed again, Alex looked to her father. "This is absurd. They're taking advantage of us!" Alex shook the document in her hand but received no reply from her father yet again. Instead he pushed her to the side and began arranging various items on his desk.

"Dad..."

no answer

"Dad!"

Nothing

"King Andrew-!"

Andrew slammed his hands on his desk, a wordless gesture that demanded for Alex to quit her nagging. The study shook and alex instinctively stepped back, gaze lowering as she felt the fear of a young girl surface in her chest. "Alex! I need you to go and let me handle this. You've far overstepped your boundaries and found yourself in matters that do not yet concern you. I am still your king. You need to leave." Andrew's voice was loud, not quite a yell but commanding as such. His eyes forced Alex to keep hers on the ground, unable to meet her father's gaze.

She wanted to fight. She wanted to stay and argue. How did this not concern her? What was her father going to do about this demand from the dragon kingdom? Alex couldn't see anyway he had the upper hand here and being forced to marry a prince not chosen by her father felt wrong. It felt as if the decision to even get married had been taken from them and was now being chosen by another. It made Alex's skin crawl. She knew her kingdom was in a bad place. But to be looked at and spoken to like a toddler who doesn't know better... it was all so insulting!

But before Alex could say something more or even leave on her own, a knock on the door caused both her and her father to look up. The sound seemed to still the air in the room, making it difficult to breath. The guard had returned and had opened the door for Kaelen to enter.

The king frowned, obviously not impressed or pleased by the demand. But still there sat a glimmer of fear behind his hard expression, forced into regal politeness. No need to throw fists yet.

"I'd appreciate a bit more explanation to this," the king started simply, pointing a hard finger onto the unsealed document laying upon his desk. "Being in your kingdoms debt is something I'm all too familiar with but surely this type of demand feels steep, even for you" the king added, standing up straight.

Alex stood off to the side, her eyes locking onto the prince once more. She knew her father didn't want her here and she felt more than out of place as she stood there like a child having just been chastised. But she also knew the king wasn't about to dismiss her among company, risking her insubordination again. Alex had learned that being defied in public by his own child was a weakness her father had. Though not intentional, this wasn't the first time she had exploited this weakness to get her way.

Talia held her breath at the hesitation she could feel coming out of Silas before their hands touched. Once they finally did, talia smiled softly and watched as he let her hold onto him gently. 'No pull'.. had he said that before? He had hadnt he? Back in the diner? She looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with the fact she could offer him silence in what seemed to be years of chaos and loud whispers.

Her lips parted at his questions, ones she expected from the moment she offered her suggestion of coming along. For once the world here felt small, her studies and dreams seeming miniscule on the grand scale. Silas had helped open her eyes to how vastly large the world was and how little time she truly had here. Why not use that time spent with someone who made her feel so alive? Every moment beside Silas was like another hit of some addictive substance. Yet talia never felt victim to his pull. She had begun to crave being near him, as if just being close had woken something deep within her that longed to be alive.

His questions remained unanswered as the bathroom door slipped open and ivy emerged. Talia half expected Silas to leap from the bed as he had from the chair the first time ivy moved. But he was slow and deliberate, only removing his hand and leaving a trace of coldness behind. Talia glanced down at her own palm and brought her hands together, rubbing her thumb over where silas' fingers used to rest.

Looking back up at the mention of texting, talia caught silas' glance and smiled humorously. She forgot she had never even explained what texting was. It was a miracle silas had found out how to use the phone all on his own.

She looked back to Ivy as they discussed the end of their meeting. "I think I'll be alright" she admitted quickly feeling excitement rise in her chest. Silas was suggesting she stay. He wanted her here. That alone seemed to send sparks down each nerve ending of talia's face and hands. She stood up, nodding to further press her agreement with the decision. "I think there's a lot more to discuss when it comes to my brother, "she gave ivy a knowing look, recalling their discussion about thomas' odd behavior before coming here "And it sounds like you've got a busy day ahead of you anyway."

She tried hiding the excitement she was feeling and instead focused on the lucky fact ivy seemed okay with leaving talia here. Finally another moment with Silas where neither would have to put on a face. It was lucky they had gotten the chance again so soon. Talia stole a glance to Silas, a quick, eager glance that she wondered if he would pick up on. Sure their discussion may be tense and filled with her brother, but Talia wondered if there was more Silas wanted to talk about. Something other than the drama at hand. Surely he wanted to further discuss her decision to join him on this journey called life. But maybe there was more?

"I'll text you if I need anything, but please go enjoy time with your collector and don't worry about me" talia moved towards ivy and the door, standing beside it to offer opening it. If there was nothing Tmore to be said, talia would open the room door and let ivy take her leave, closing it soon after.

The silence that filled the room between silas and herself felt heavy with opportunity. Talia kept her hand on the door for a moment before slowly turning towards Silas. "My studies don't mean much to me anymore truthfully... you've shown me there's a lot more to the world than college." She started, finally able to answer the questions he had asked before. "I've enjoyed my time aiming for that goal. But I think that goal has changed. Leaving my mother will be hard, mostly for her, but it was bound to happen someday, right?"

She took a few steps back into the room, her eyes locking onto Silas as she spoke. Her steps were slow despite her excitement. "You could teach me so much with everything you've experienced and in return I can offer insight to our current times and maybe... some relief from your own troubles?" Her brow lifted hopefully, having not heard a definitive no come from his lips yet. He wanted her to join him, right? If he didn't he had plenty of time to shut down her offered before ivy had emerged from the bathroom.

Thomas was feeling dizzy. Maybe from the knife pushed to his throat, maybe from the idea that ivy had now outed herself to these two dangerous men. He was growing frantic, unsure of what he could say or do to keep their snotty noses from pointing in her direction. But he was out of luck. They were determined to meet with her and Thomas felt it was nothing but his own fault.

He stumbled back as he was shoved, regaining his footing just soon enough to feel a cold hard punch be sent right between his eyes. Thomas moaned holding the wall with one hand as the other came to his face. Another moment passed and Thomas felt his entire body begin to fall. He hit the ground with a hard thud and groaned once again. Cheap shots.

"n-no wait" he tried arguing as Zane made it clear ivy was not the real target here. This worried Thomas more than anything. If ivy wasn't important or proved to have no new information, Thomas was sure Zane would make no hesitation in either getting rid of or hurting ivy. One option better than the other, but neither ideal.

Thomas curled up into a ball as Zane released a wave of punches and kicks into his body. He grunted and groaned but tried hard to not give any other reaction. Darren watched with a satisfied smile, having done just this to many kids during his school years. It was satisfying to see the man he thought responsible for Vinny's death take a beating. Darren was ready to land a few kicks of his own, getting caught up in the situation, but stopped the idea when Zane snatched the phone from his hand. He looked like he had just gotten pulled from a trance and only came to when offered a smoke. Happily he took one, slipping it between his lips.

He walked with Zane out the door, glancing back one last time at Thomas, bleeding and rolling on the ground, before the front door broke his line of sight. "Nothing much to do other than drink beer" Darren admitted, hating how little this town had to offer. "We could try and sneak over to where Vinny was found. Maybe explore that cave Thomas was at? The police may still be crawling all over the place" Darren offered before getting in the truck. He waited for instruction from Zane, defaulting to the man obviously in more control. He would go where ever Zane told him to.

Thomas laid on the ground, world spinning and body aching. He had been beat up before, sure, but it definitely had been a while. Slowly he sat up, blood oozing from his nose and mouth. He groaned as he gingerly felt his face with his hands. Already some swelling had set in. His stomach flipped as he barely moved, having taken quite a few blows from zanes heavy foot.

He needed to move. He needed to warn ivy. Maybe he could get to the Dusty Lantern before all of them. Or maybe he could get to talia and she could help. She was with Silas, right? That's what Darren had said? For now Thomas sat on the ground, tending to his wounds and trying not to pass out.
