Two coworkers from different departments at the tech giant Innovate win a company-sponsored wellness retreat at a secluded luxury lodge, Serenity Peak, high in the Colorado Rockies. They barely know each other—just exchanged nods in the cafeteria or a "hey" at the printer.
The retreat begins with a serene snowfall... that quickly becomes a blizzard. Roads close. The staff is gone. A pre-recorded message tells them help won't arrive until the storm passes. Now it's just the two of them—stranded in comfort, cut off from the world.
Will they bond or unravel? Is there more to the lodge than it seems?
Horror / Sci-fi / Post-Apocalyptic / (Potential Romance)

(Inspired by the world of Metro Exodus)
After the collapse of the old world, mutated creatures now roam the surface. What's left of humanity hides underground or in scattered pockets. Your character and mine are among the few left daring to explore the ruins in search of other survivors.
The question is no longer how will we survive? but should we?
Modern / Slice-of-Life / Optional Thriller or Romance

MC rents out a spare bedroom in their apartment. The ad offers cheap rent and free Wi-Fi, so applications come quickly. After sorting through the messages, YC gets selected—and suddenly, they're roommates.
From here, the story could go in any direction—awkward friendship, tension, something darker... or even romance. So much potential for world-building, surprises, and layered character growth.
Modern or Fantasy / Slice-of-Life / Horror or Thriller Elements

Muse A comes from privilege: straight-A student, picture-perfect life. Muse B comes from the opposite side of the tracks, struggling to stay afloat. Their worlds should've never collided—yet now they're both trapped in a basement, kidnapped by a mysterious figure.
Do they escape? Do they turn on each other? Is their captor even human?
This plot could lean fantasy (a vampire captor, a magical trap) or realistic horror (serial killer, cult, etc.). Plenty of room for angst, action, and connection.
Overprotective (Dark Romance | Demon × Mortal | FxF or MxF | 18+)
(Based similarly around a new book series I have been reading that is amazing!)
MC is a mortal soul who should have gone to Heaven—but chose Hell instead. YC is a powerful demon who becomes obsessively protective of the soul that doesn't belong. Think gore, violence, possessiveness, and emotional tension wrapped in a brutal, blood-soaked underworld.
I'm looking for a dark, twisted, romantic story with a 50/50 balance of plot and smut. Lots of gore, heavy emotional stakes, and that delicious slow-burn tension that eventually explodes. Possessive behavior, forbidden desire, and a bond that shouldn't exist—but does.
Bonus points for worldbuilding Hell, demon hierarchy, and power dynamics
Let's make this sinful and unforgettable.

Psychological horror, monsters, survival—yes please. Bonus points for eerie atmospheres and unreliable narrators. - Victorian Gothic

Writing Style & Expectations- I like to mirror my partner's style and energy!
- I write primarily as female characters in all MxF pairings. But I will write as a male in MxM pairings!
- I'm not a fan of one-liners. I prefer at least 3 well-written sentences, but you don't have to write a novel either.
- Right now, I'm most comfortable with 1–3 detailed paragraphs per post while I get back into the groove.
- I appreciate decent grammar, but perfection isn't necessary. I'm definitely not flawless either!
- Please be respectful, communicative, and open to collaboration.
