<<[The Request]>>
The Peloponnesian War, 410 BCE
To be honest, nobody is quite perfect-- that is an impossible standard to achieve, after all. But most of all, YC is sure as hell not perfect. In fact, she is so imperfect that she sure as shit thinks she is perfect. A complete and utter thorn in Zeus' side, YC finds herself on the bad side of her own pantheon with her antics. In one final straw, Zeus turns YC into a mortal and casts her down into the crashing sea below out of pure anger and spite. His rules are simple: learn something, and you may return to be a God once more. Humility, reverence, respect! YC is probably (not) very pleased to find that oceans tend to drown silly mortals for a reason! The weather is not perfect, the water is too cold, the sand too hot, the people too untrusting-- Yet, that is really the least of her worries. While YC was enjoying the high-life, she was a little unaware of the fact there was a gruesome war underneath, and now she is caught between two ships firing volleys of arrows-- one marked with the flag of Athens, and the other carrying a nameless flag.
Lucky for YC, the nameless ship makes an effort to save her in the midst of battle. The nameless ship is pirated by a group of escapee slaves, headed by MC-- an ironically staunch atheist on her own journey of reclamation. Naturally, YC is going to cling to the one mortal human in this world that she is terribly unfamiliar with. What is MC reclaiming? Time to find out through dodgy dialogue and bloodshed!
Notes about this story:
Everything is always up for interpretation if need be. I've just made a good start to kind of get the 'feel' of what this story will be about.
YC can be a canonical Goddess, or one of your own making.
MC is 100% going to fill out that 'hates everyone except (eventually) you' trope. yippie, yay. we love a good brood 'round here
