Hey there! Thanks for visiting my page. A minute bit of detail about myself. I've RP'd before in forums. I love the atmosphere. I love meeting new friends and some of the best friends in life came from writing partners. (I'm not expecting that here. I'm just saying.) I love creating worlds and characters. I love making a whole new universe with someone while building a friendship.
WRITING STYLE
- I don't write novella. I do anywhere from a few sentences (based on what's happening in the story,) to several paragraphs. I typically keep it one paragraph.
- I don't expect a lengthy reply. You don't have to describe everything in a room for 18 paragraphs. No. In fact, it's one of my turn offs. I do admire and respect those who write like that. I just can't keep up with it. Simple as that. lol. Writers block and impatience soon sets in after I try to write like that.
- I prefer to write with female writers. It's not a quip to "Get a girlfriend," or "Get naughty pictures from them." My chemistry works better with female writers. I've tried writing with males in the past and the vibe was just wrong. Don't get me wrong. Those males I've wrote with are very talented writers with the gift of imagination. They did nothing wrong. The groove just didn't feel right.
- I am open to smut. I do enjoy a smutty RP from time to time. I'm not opposed to zero smut in the story, too. Like most people, I have different cravings at different times. So I'm open to a lot of ideas. We can explore those together.
- I love to brain storm and create worlds with my partners. I want us both to look forward to sending messages to the other with ideas and chat. If you're not the type that wants to chat ooc along with the RP, that's perfectly fine. I will respect your wishes and we can just write.
- I do work a full time job and I have two amazing boys. I won't be able to write during the daytime hours in EST. However, the night will be good for a couple of hours. I do welcome messages during the day - and will respond asap.
CRAVING
I've been craving a Breakfast Club type RP. We can call it the Breakfast Club 2 or The Lunch Club or something. It centers on 6 students (18+) in high school that are assigned all day detention on Saturdays during the summer in 1987. MC is a troublemaker bad boy. He's really a honest person but his abusive homelife forces him to be disruptive so his abusive father would take his anger out on him and not his little brother. As a practical joke, MC tricks YC and gets her into trouble. Though, not his intention, YC ends up getting detention, too. At first, YC hates MC because of it. ---- Long story short. Three guys and three girls. Each are different in their personalities. Each have a unique reason for the severity of them being in detention. All become paired with one another at the end of the story.
The idea is how the group acts and hangs out during detention after MC manages to blackmail the principle into letting them have free reign of the school (within reason.) MC is known by the local cops. They are informed that MC has detention and if he's caught outside the school during detention hours, he would be arrested on the spot - which will make a humorous set of events for him and the others while they try to sneak him out of school and go places to do things.
We can play it out like a movie - or like a TV with multiple stories involving the same characters but in different situations. I'd love to do a TV style show of it - but a movie is good, too.
I give and welcome free reign on YC. I have the idea that YC would be the quiet, book worm, follows the rules type of person while one of the other girls is a rebel like MC, and the other is a dancer. I like to use realistic face claims but it isn't necessary. I use nightcafe to render face claims on people in the story.
Um. Yeah. That's about it. Due to the lack of time because of real life. I'm only seeking one partner for this story. Though, I wouldn't mind turning it into a group RP. I've never done one but I'd imagine it would be fun. So, if I get multiple hits on this story. I'll probably chat with you for a while to get a feel for our vibe and see how we are around each other.
