I honestly have nothing against it, but this rp doesn't involve sexual activity.
This is meant to be a start to a superhero/villain universe seperate from DC or Marvel.

Superhuman Origins

Abilities are more often than not triggered in just the same way as mental illnesses. They may lie dormant until that one traumatizing event that forces a person's mind and body into survival mode. Triggered people can have children who will thus be born with the abilities and/or mental illness out in the open.

90% of those with superhuman abilities are mentally ill.

But, a project funded by the government is devoted to experimenting on volunteers to try bringing out these abilities without the mental illnesses. Drugs and simulated traumatic experiments are the tools to this project. For those who come out mentally scarred, there is a secondary phase of the program to help rehabilitate the volunteers, mainly through therapy.

Aliens and AI can be involved to add more variety as well. But we aren't going to make supers come from radioactive spiders or gamma radiation.
