Thank you for welcoming me into the sanctum! A friend of mine recommended this site to me ages ago, so I'm giving this place a shot. After years of RPing on Discord and Tumblr, Inner Sanctum is very new to me. Please be patient with me while I figure things out. Also, I don't really consider myself more than amateur in terms of skill. I've been writing for a while, sure, but I'm not a novelist either.
Oh, and I go by Magpie because of my weakness for shiny, metallic things.

I have been writing since I was twelve and started roleplaying not long after on GaiaOnline. (Which makes me feel terribly old writing this…) Like every middle schooler back then, I was a obsessed with anime and so most of my threads were D.N.Angel self-Inserts and melodramatic angst.
I'd like to think that I've grown up a little since then, but it was fun at the time. Lord knows, I couldn't write those things now. Bad for my health.
What are your favorite genres? (@charliekitty)
Full disclosure, I like reading LGBTQ+ novels best so if you have any good titles, PLEASE share. My tastes and moods change so often. It really does depend on the month if I'm honest. I love a good horror-thriller when I'm feeling edgy, but rom-coms and harlequins are my guilty pleasure. I was also raised off crime classics like the Sopranos and the Godfather, so I can't help but love my mafiosos too. Hit me up IMMEDIATELY if you watched and enjoyed 91 Days.
What do you like to do OTHER than writing? (@charliekitty)
Collecting comic books. It's a fun hobby and there is a story for everyone if you give it an honest chance. I'm partial to DC Comics (Please don't come at me with the Batman hate… it's just tacky…) but enjoy a few Marvel and Indie titles too. Nothing beats the feeling of tracking down a book you've been hunting a while.
