THWAK.
The arrow thudded into the ground at his foot, missing it by millimeters. He flinched, startled. Hand peeled back the flap entrance to the tent as he tentatively stepped inside.
“Navalie? I’m looking for a Navalie.” He spoke, throat dry, hands beading with sweat even in the Caldeum outskirts.
“There’s no Navalie here. Get out.”
“Then…who are you?” He took another step closer in hopes of getting a view of the figure who was speaking.
“What part of me almost shooting you in the foot means ‘come in’ to you? Get the fuck out of my tent.”
“But I need to talk to you. It’s important–”
Another arrow thudded into the ground, this one whizzing by his arm. “I said out.”
“A traveler has been fed the blood of Lilith.”
He heard the creaking of her bow being drawn once more, suddenly stop. Eyes fell to her shadow where he saw her head turn to one side. Bow lowered. She leapt down off her perch, bare feet hitting the rug and desert sand below her.
That had gotten her attention.
Navalie is 23 years old. She helped kill Diablo during the Diablo II era as an Amazon warrior when she was only sixteen. Afterwards she was quickly replaced by Nephalem. Sanctuary didn't want her help when Diablo returned a third time. She was rejected, and retreated to the deserts of Caldeum where she spent her time picking off demons and hiding in solitude for years, gaining a reputation for being a bit of an odd character that should not be approached. Only now, when she learns someone has been fed Lilith's blood, may she come out of the deserts. Maybe. If the right person convinces her.
A few things :))
-I don't want to write smut. Romance, yes. Cute romantic gestures like hand holding and stuff, yes. Making out and intense flirting, yes. But I don't have any interest in describing any sex characters may have in great detail.
-I want to write as often as possible. I don't want months to go by in between writing. If stuff happens in real life, I totally get it and we can always take a break, just communicate with me so I don't think I'm being ghosted and I will do the same with you.
-I am 23 and like writing with characters around my age, so I'd like our characters to be in their twenties.
-If you don't want to write romance, that's totally fine! But if you do, I'd prefer MxF or FxF. I have MxF selected on the thing because it wouldn't let me select both of those at once.
-I don't want romance to be the main plot, if it happens I want it to be a side plot that happens alongside the course of the main story, if that makes sense.
