Hullo and welcome to whomever comes across this little corner of Inner Sanctum. I'm Levi (lev-ee not lee-vi), your local Hermonie Granger.
I've been on a break from rping for a while due to life throwing me a plot twist. But I miss roleplay so much that I joined this site to see if I still got my mojo. I'm looking for one to two like minded individuals to write with.
Below will be a slew of information about me as a writer and such. If anything tickles your fancy please send over a message. And, thank you in advance for reading.
Edit: If you decide to message me, please give me something to work with. Ideas. What interested you when you read my search thread. Information about how you like to roleplay. Anything to get the ball rolling!

The writer...
I'm a thirty-something gal living in europe. Currently, I am a stay at home mom to a three month old. I have been writing off and on for about fifteen years now (my god, I feel old). I enjoy plotting and coming up with awesome stories from scratch. Gimme the drama and juicy plot twists!
The writing...
Over the years, my literacy goes back and forth from super advance novella to lazy lit. I consider myself lazy lit as of right now. Up to 600 words a post is probably all I can manage. But that's not without actions, details, character thoughts/feelings, and all those juicy tidbits. I adore immersing myself in my stories, I just dont have time and brain power to write novella anymore. It might change later if I find the right rp partner and story. But who knows!? Surely not me!
I'm very big on the story. I adore compelling stories filled with romance, adventure, good character development, and a shit ton of angst. The genres I usually go for are fantasy (modern/urban), supernatural, slice of life, and romance. I lean toward a darker aesthetic whether it may be something fantasy based or a gritty crime setting over something strictly fluffy. But fluff in the right places can be good.
Even though I'm hard on the story side of things, I do like me some spicy smuttiness. It can be heavy or light, it just has to make sense with what's going on. It's all about the build up for me. I haven't written much on the sub/dom dynamic. But what I have done, my characters lean toward sub and switches. They are never doormats, but they can be a bit innocent at first. It just depends on the story and such. I normally write for soft, feminine ladies with a bit of feistiness when needed. They are never in a position of power at the start. It's fun to see them blossom into something else as the story progresses.
I value open communication and hardly ever ghost. I hope to get the same in return. My posting leans on the slow side. The more that needs to be written, the more time I need. I also have a demanding 3 month old. He tends to take up most of my time. But I will voice if a post may be slower than normal.
I really enjoy plotting. Bouncing ideas around and talking about characters is really what builds my muse for posting. We don't have to plan out every detail or follow what we talked about to a tee. It's just fun to get the wheels turning.
I can get invested in the characters. I've been known to make a pinterest board or two and share things that remind me of the story. This is where ooc talk comes in. I prefer to make friends with the person I'm writing with. Nothing kills my muse more than not being able to share things and gush over the characters.

Cravings and other lameness...
Just some cravings and lame ideas below that I would love to brainstorm on. I'm also open to other ideas. Throw them at me!
Hades x Persephone inspired
Something along the lines of the male role is made out to be a villain by others out of greed and power, but he really isn't. An outcast, he made his own empire based on the horrible lies about him and vowed to get revenge. He had been fine living a life of solitude until the female role, a daughter of one of the people that casted him out, happens to trespass on his territory. Perhaps she was pushed by something, running away from an arranged engagement or the like. She runs right into his arms, a perfect opportunity to finally get his revenge. But little does he know that she is more than she looks as well. He ends up falling for her and she with him, a bunch of drama ensues ect.
First loves reunited
Inspired by the song 'This Love' by Taylor Swift, it's basically the story of right person at wrong time. They were each other's first everything but something big tore them a part (could be anything). Years later, fate made them cross paths and due to a twist of events they are in each other's life again. The spark they once had never died. Being together rekindles something they both thought had died a long time ago.
• Arrange marriage - Could be an business arrangement or a ploy of some kind.
• Marriage pact - What happens when a pact made as teenagers to marry at 30 if both are single becomes a reality?
• Reincarnation - Death was only the beginning. I really want something epic for this. Dark academia vibes, maybe?

Thursday, September the 30th, the young woman scribbled down in a crisp, brand new journal.
After another pointless therapy session, her therapist had decided to take a different approach to their meetings. He had instructed her to write down what she had remembered about her dreams and how they made her feel. It was supposed to help her understand and figure out why she was having them, but all it did was make her feel like he was grasping for straws. No matter how many times she talked about them and no matter how hard she tried to understand them, they just kept on getting worse. Not better. Completely and utterly worse.
This is fucking ridiculous and a total waste of time, she wrote on the next line, deciding to end the sentence with a little flourish by adding a few exclamation marks.
The noise of the busy cafe bustled around her and the smell of coffee and baked goods filled the air. She sat alone at a small, round wooden table. A cold, half-drunken earl grey latte was pushed aside to make room for the notebook. She had decided to treat herself to her favorite beverage after another long and frustrating therapy session. The plan was to get some work done on her laptop as well and block out everything they had talked about prior. But her laptop remained tucked away in her bag, and the intention was easier said than done when her thoughts kept going back to her dreams. Instead of blocking them out as she normally tried to do, she decided to give the journal a go. The thing was she wasn't sure what to write. Her words wouldn't come. How on earth could she explain what her dreams felt like? The realization made her agitated.
"Okay…" She mumbled to herself, taking a cleansing breath. "You've written more difficult things than recording your dreams. Time to take this seriously." She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to go back to the dream she had the night before.
The dreams always started the same with her senses being plunged into pitch black. She couldn't see a damn thing nor hear anything at all. The sound seemed to be muted as if the soundtrack to the dream was on pause. All she could do was stumble into its depths searching for something. The need to find something… No, it was someone, the need to find someone was pressing and almost dire. She could feel her heart constrict and ache as if longing desperately for someone that she had lost.
When she woke up after the first night that ache stayed with her and hadn't left since the first dream. It only grew worse with each night. The growing ache prompted her to go see a therapist to try to work out what was going on with her. It was initially diagnosed as some form of anxiety from her childhood that was manifesting itself. Something in her knew that wasn't true. It felt bigger than that, way bigger.
As her dreams progressed more and more each night, the darkness felt as if it was a corporeal being. It rolled on her skin, pricking at the flesh. Sometimes it was soothing, like a caress from a lover. Other times it had burned like a thousand fire ants were crawling on her limbs. In those dreams, with the burning dark, she could almost hear a voice piercing into the nothingness. As if it was trying to call her back to them. She couldn't tell if it was a masculine or feminine voice. It just sounded muffled like hearing someone talk while being underwater. After those nights, she would wake up with her cheeks wet and her eyes burning with tears. She had been crying in her sleep.
Soon, in every dream, the dark burned even fiercer than the last, but the voice became clearer and clearer. The voice was what made her stay and endure the burning. She had to go to it at any cost. Even when she was awake, the desire to be with the voice was urging and completely confusing.
It wasn't until the night before, with her fighting in the dark, the voice finally came to focus. It was a male's voice calling out to her. Comforting and urging all at the same time, like trying to wake her up from a deep sleep. His tone was filled with longing, the same growing longing she had felt from the start. What he had been saying all along suddenly came into focus. He was saying her name over and over. "Ysabel…" His voice had whispered and she swore that she could almost feel his tears on her face. But the thing was she wasn't Ysabel. Her name was Lily. She was Lily.
Her dark eyes flew open. Immediately pressing her pen back to the paper, she wrote, who is Ysabel? Putting several lines under it.
Just as she wrote the question, she felt the urging sensation from her dreams. This time it felt real, so very real and fiercer than ever before. It felt like something was tugging deep within her, urging her to do something that she couldn't put her finger on. She placed her pen down and took a breath. This was weird, too weird even for her. Great, she thought as the panic started to rise. I'm going to have a panic attack in the damned cafe.
When she placed a hand over her heart in an attempt to slow the racing, something in the depths of her soul whispered. Look up.
What? She responded in her head. Great, she was talking to a non-existing voice in her head now. Maybe it was a good thing she had sought after a therapist after all. He would have a field day with that new development.
Look up, the voice pressed on louder and more determined than before. Lily started to chew on her lip and dropped her hand from her chest. What could be so pressing to look at? She guessed the only way to know is to merely 'look up'.
Her gaze drifted up slowly to look out of the cafe window, her heart pounding in her ears. It was anti-climatic. Nothing was there. No one was out there. Not. A. Living. Soul. She could feel herself frown in disappointment. What did she except with listening to strange voices in her head? "Not normal," she muttered to herself. "You are definitely going insane listening to stupid voices."
With that being the final straw, she decided that she had enough with sitting in the cafe feeling like an idiot. If she was going to freak out she could do it in the comfort and privacy of her apartment. She gathered her things, the notebook clutched to her chest. As she went to walk away from her table, she turned a little too abruptly in the small gap between the other tables. The next thing she knew she was bouncing off of someone's chest and the notebook and pen crashed to the floor.
"Oh, shit! I am so sorry," she exclaimed, bending down to pick up her dropped things. It was odd, though. The urging, panic-ridden, longing feeling that plagued her for weeks had vanished altogether.
The voice decided to speak again, the words were even more confusing and dumbfounding than the last.
