☆☆☆☆I woke among the blood red ferns, I have no idea how I got here. The moss beneath me was cold and wet. The aspen trees are stark white but blend in with the pale fog that looms among their twisted branches. I don't like their black spots, they look too much like eyes. My phone isn't working right. I can't seem to send texts or call anyone but somehow the internet works fine? I don't understand.
It's really cold here, suffocating. My chest is tight, it's hard to breathe. It's also too quiet; there's no wildlife and not even my footsteps make any sound. I've walked for miles, searching for someone, for something new, but the scenery never changes. I've found no one and nothing but more trees. I think I might be walking in circles but I can't be sure. Everything looks the same.
Something is watching me. I can feel its gaze even through the cold that's gnawing at my bones but when I turn around, I see nothing. The more I walk, the worse the feeling gets. No matter which way I go, I can feel something watching me but I can't hear anything following me. How do I get out of here? Can someone respond to this and tell me? I can't find any other reviews of this place, I don't even know it's name. I just want to go home! Please! Someone tell me how to get home!
