Greetings, reader !
You can call me some variation of whatever my current username is, or you can call me Lotus. I'm almost in my 30's, transmasc and my preferred pronouns are he / they. I'm generally not picky about pronouns, or nicknames, unless it's she / her or gendered terms for females. I've been a member of the Inner Sanctum for roughly two years, but I haven't been very active until now. That's about to change, since the environment is relaxed and the users are friendly.
I'm generally an easy - going person and enjoy chit chatting, even if we're not actively plotting or roleplaying at the time. I usually update my activity status via profile comments, because life tends to get in the way, or I get hooked on a new video game. At the time of writing this, I'm very into Genshin Impact, but I also play Overwatch on and off. I'm in the Inner Sanctum server and you can reach out to me through there, if absolutely necessary ( aka if the site itself is down ). Otherwise, my inbox is open to literally anything. Be it roleplaying inquiries, chatting, or any other concern you may have.

As far as writing goes, I consider myself fairly literate, albeit having alot of room for improvement. My main point of interest, as of now, is Genshin Impact roleplay, but it's definitely not the only fandom or genre I will write. I'm willing to write both canon characters / worlds and originals. Although, I'll admit I'm still new to extensive world building and I will likely need a Google Doc with all the necessary information to look back on, when necessary. Yes, I'm a little scatter - brained, I'll admit as much.
I typically write 250-1000 words per reply, third person and past tense. It's preferrable if you can mirror the style, but you don't have to write as much as I do. Just don't give me one - liners because I'll get bored quickly, since there won't be much to write in return to a one - liner. I will also mirror your style, in terms of whether you use a template for your replies, or plain text. Either goes, as long as it's ledgible. Please, don't use those handwriting fonts, as they're difficult to read at times. Font size depends on you.
I can be a slow replier at times, depending on my IRL schedule. Sometimes I will reply swiftly and others I will take a while. If you're looking for rapid fire roleplays, I'm probably not a good fit for you. I aim for once a week per story. Twice if possible. But I don't think I can keep up with multiple replies to the same story per day, unless I'm extremely inspired, or happen to have alot of time that day.

NOTE : You may ask about other fandoms you're interested in and I'll let you know if I'm familiar with them. Ones I will definitely not write, regardless, are Dragonball, Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss, Undertale, Marvel / DC and Star Wars. I'm also not familiar with any version of Final Fantasy, which seems popular nowadays, but if you wish to write a character from the fandom in a modern AU, or an Isekai setting, I'm willing to discuss. Just keep in mind I'm clueless on the lore, characters, etc.
Original settings are alot more flexible, as I have many different interests. I like Danmei / Wuxia / Xianxia inspired settings. Ancient China, in other words. You don't need to have read or watched a specific novel or show. Inspiration will be used to create our very own world, lore and characters. At this point of time, I'm not looking for many such plots and would rather explore other settings. I'm also a huge fan of historical stories. Picture London in the 1800's. It doesn't have to be 100% historically accurate, but some research is appreciated by both parties. I don't claim to be an expert either. I'll do my part, where necessary. Apocalyptic settings, such as The Last of Us, but we would be creating our very own universe, reason for the situation of the world, etc. Modern and Ultramodern is fine as well ! I'll make a quick list of settings I enjoy below.

Generally, i'm willing to discuss your ideas, as long as what you're offering isn't flat out in my no section.
Erotic roleplays can be written on occasion, when the mood is right, or if requested and agreed on. But I tend to prefer story-focused roleplays that keep me on my toes. You can request an erotic roleplay, but keep in mind that I reserve the right to say no.

Regardless of whether our chosen setting canon or not, I'm happy to write as and against both canon and original characters. The only catch is I must be familiar with my character, otherwise I won't be able to portray them properly and you'll likely be disappointed. Canon x Canon, Canon x OC, or OC x OC are all fine by me. Though, if we're writing in an existing universe, I do tend to have a slight preference for canon characters. Y'know, favourites and all.
If we decide one or both characters are going to be original, I will likely create a Google Doc for them with some necessary information for you to read and me to look back on. That's not mandatory on your part, but it makes the process easier, as I can always look back on the sheet and ensure I'm not going off script, or doing something that wouldn't suit your character.
In ship settings, I have a strong preference for MxM dynamics and I prefer writing the submissive counterpart. That doesn't mean I won't discuss writing the dominant counterpart on occasion, or that other dynamics are out of the question. I can write MxF, preferably as the female and I'd also like to dip my toes in FxF, again writing the submissive counterpart, unless otherwise discussed and agreed on.
In terms of dynamics, I enjoy both romantic and sweet ones, as well as more toxic and dark ones. I'm not particularly bothered by darker settings, in general. Check the next tab for detailed limits.
I tend to work with faceclaims because they help me visualise the characters while writing. Even if it's just one picture to look back on. If you don't work with faceclaims, that's fine. I won't press on the matter and we can still discuss a story between us. I prefer animated faceclaims, but I may agree to use live action ones on occasion and if we're writing within a fandom that's live action. If the story is purely erotic, I will only use animated faceclaims. I don't feel comfortable using existing people for erotic roleplays, unless it's a story - based one and smut happens to come our way. That's fine. I'm talking about very kink - based, 100% erotic roleplays, where the faceclaim has to be animated.
NOTE : I will not use AI generated faceclaims for my roleplays. I'd rather not use a faceclaim at all, than use an AI generator. Sorry about that, just a personal preference.

Some extra information about my writing, mostly for erotic settings and any general limits I have for stories that will be written.
I don't have many triggers, honestly. I'm quite flexible, so just ask me about something specific and I'll let you know my comfort levels.
In terms of kinks, I'm open to discussing yours and seeing if we can somehow incorporate them into our roleplay. Let me know what you're into, what you want to see, etc. The worst that can happen is me saying no. Other than that, I consider myself fairly vanilla during the act, but there are some light kinks I enjoy. Such as toys, light bondage, biting, marking, breeding, omegaverse ... Feel free to ask for specifics via messages, if you're looking to write an erotic roleplay.
HARD LIMITS :

If something is in my limits, please don't ask because I won't change my mind. They're called limits for a reason and they're out of my comfort zone.
