Sho's Request Thread

ABOUT ME.

Hello! I'm Sho, but you can also call me Lion. I'm in my early twenties and disabled.

I'm really good about communicating OOC and it's a priority of mine to ensure boundaries are communicated and respected. I'm very honest about my own boundaries and expect the same in any roleplay partner I have. Below I go into more detail about my boundaries!

My timezone is PST/PDT (UTC-7 / GMT-7). My schedule is kind of hard to explain, as I don't have much going on, however, due to my disability, I'm not always available or able to respond. I communicate this as best as I'm able, but I get the brain fuzzies (brain fog) pretty often, which can make it a little difficult at times.

My main interests consist of anime, manga, video games, and learning about new things. I particularly enjoy learning about disabilities, animals, and cultures different from my own. I'd love to talk about my interests OOC!

WRITING PREFERENCES.

I write in third-person and use proper grammar, I expect this from my partner as well. I want OOC communication, though we don't need to be friends or even talk about our interests, but talking about the plot and roleplay development is vital for me. Another vital part of communication is discussing the plot and our characters dynamic BEFORE we actually begin writing.

My literacy fluctuates quite a bit, as of right now, I average about 200-400 words. I can write more, but I'm rusty with writing and getting back into the swing of things, so bare with me. I need at least 150-200 words to give a proper response.

I have a few generic characters, but I'm also totally open to creating new characters for a roleplay! I often make changes to my generic characters to adapt them to stories as well. (I'll eventually add some character sheets.)

I don't require face claims, but I will say I don't do realistic face claims (real people). I just don't like it. I do need at least somewhat of a physical description, from things like eye color, height, body type, and hair.

For pairings, I prefer MxM or androgynous pairings. I am open to other pairings, but it needs to be discussed a lot more thoroughly for me. I don't do doubling, it's just not an interest of mine and I don't enjoy it.

My preferred genres are darker themes with emotional distress and conflict. Most of the time, I want hurt + comfort, but I can also do just plain hurt content, when discussed. I like incorporating romance, or at least, emotional intimacy in a similar way. I really enjoy supernatural themes like vampires, werewolves, other similar species. I'm very flexible with genres as long as there's other points of interest for me.

EROTICA

For starters, I do not roleplay smut. For the specifics, I do not write anything involving the genitals. I'm okay with mentions of it, such as mentioning arousal, or characters flirting in a very sexual manner verbally. I'm okay with things like making out, light touching over the body (not genitals), and kink-related roleplay as long as it doesn't involve the genitals. I am open to questions, as long as you respect my boundaries. This is a hard limit of mine and will not be negotiated. Additionally, I'll add that I'm a switch in regards to dominant and submissive. I generally like having a fluctuation of it between characters, but we can discuss this more.

PLOTS.

Vampire Sire x Vampire Fledgling: In this case, the vampire sire is NOT parental in any way and just the creator and controller of the fledgling. This would be a darker topic, as the vampire fledgling would be struggling to accept their lacking mortality, and yet unable to change it.
Crime Boss x Right-Hand: Pretty simple concept, the crime boss of an organization and their right-hand assistant. I wouldn't mind topics of the right-hand being their "guard dog" in a sense. Their relationship would already be rather developed and the roleplay would be more about the further development of it, along with any conflicts we come up with.
Demon/Angel x Angel/Demon: This is pretty generic, but I do really want to explore the concept of a demon or angel having a vital part of them removed such as their wings or horns. How it happens is up to discussion, but roleplaying the emotional turmoil of losing something so important and the relation it might have to the other.
Single Parent x Single Parent: I'm a sucker for this trope and it's not nearly as dark as my other ones, as it's just two people struggling through life without someone else to help raise their child. I love my dark themes as much as I love my fluff.
Pack Dynamics: I'm not quite sure what to call this, but like the werewolf pack dynamic stuff? Rival packs, rogue wolves, all that stuff. I'm definitely interested in exploring it.
Other Ideas: These are just a list of some of the things on my mind right now. If you read my post and think we'd mesh well, but you have different ideas, message me anyway and we can talk about it!
