Hello and welcome to my fantasy seeking role play thread!
I do have a main thread with a bunch of different ideas and cravings, the link will be down below if fantasy is not your thing, you are interested in checking that out.

Please feel free to call me Marauder, Mar, Blades, or TK.
I am a 29 year old male.
I have been writing for 17ish years.
I prefer for my partners to be aged 21 or older. Yes, it's a preference thing.

I have no interest in playing a Top-Only character in smut-related role play threads.
All of my characters are switches or Verse unless stated otherwise.
Please do not come to me expecting my character to constantly be the dom/top role in a relationship.

I do not use anime or drawn images for character references.
I prefer real human faces, or written descriptions if you're uncomfortable with using real humans.

Scenario:
My character is a mage of no particular repute. He tends to keep to himself as best he can, living far outside of the realm of most human villages, towns, and cities. Once upon a time, he had belonged to a rank of battlemages raised to brandish naturally gifted magics in the name of kingdom and crown. When the kingdom had fallen due in no small part to an assassination of the royal family and their nearest cohorts, a democracy slowly blossomed. Among many things in the wake of the king's death came a violent distrust of magics and mages. With that distrust, an upheaval of the systems dedicated to teaching (read: enslaving, and forcing those gifted with magics to learn how to weaponize their abilities) individuals magics, were demolished. Unfortunately, many of the mages that were thus liberated, could not be trusted to live amongst the common folk. Half out of fear for what they could do, and because those mages were not taught to live independently.

The price for a dead mage is bountiful, and the bounty grows significantly dependent wholly upon the school of magic that they learn. Healers tend to be spared, although they are warily watched. Popular belief is that the only good mage, is a dead one. Scarce though they tend to be, mages also tend toward the solemn life knowing that there is no safety in numbers. Especially not when people grow to assume mages in numbers are trying to abdicate the powers that be for their own, evil gain.

Your character is a hunter of mages, either one with great resources, employed by cities and individuals alike to eradicate suspected apostates. A veteran wrangler of apostates and mages, having worked with and amongst them before the kingdom's collapse--very possibly fed magic to keep mages in check. Or some blade-for-higher told about the existence of my character on the outskirts of civilization. If none of these ideas are suitable for your character, you may propose something of your own! I am open and eager to hear your thoughts and input.

Fantasy, non-earth.
No Earth Mythos or Religions (earth-adjacent ideals are okay)​

This is a thread meant for MxM only.
My character is Verse (a switch).
I refuse to play the "top/dom-only" position in any smut that should happen and as such, do not expect you to play a "top/dom" OR "Bottom/sub-only" position.
Characters should be aged between 25-40
