You are the prince and the heir to the throne of Fortuno kingdom. Your noble birth has given you access to just about anything and everything you could ever want. Education on just about every topic inaginable, training with weapons from swords to bows, hell, you've even been given some basic magical tomes to master.

Your long time best friend, however, has none of that.

He is just the headchef's son. He wasn't born into nobility, he wasn't given the fancy education you were, and the only things he knows of magic is what you have taught him. And yet, you two are inseparable. Of course your father, the king, often disapproves of your friendship, claiming that it doesn't reflect the image of what a prince should be, but you still are friends with him nonetheless.

One day, everything changes.

While attending a summit, one of the allied kingdoms to the north betrayed us all, by having the other kingdom's rulers assassinated, in a most cowardly way indeed. The kingdom ruler's food were poisoned. After they all began to choke on their own blood, soldiers swarmed the dining hall, ready to kill any and all witnesses. Luckily, you and your friend escaped, using a secret passage that very few people know about.

That was four years ago. Since then, Fortuno Kingdom was taken over by King Mal, a dark and twisted man whom ruled with an iron fist. He left the other neighboring kingdoms whom had been left without rulers to his five children, each as cruel as their father. For some reason, he only wanted Fortuno Kingdom.

During that time, you and your friend have been training. Honing your skills in magnificent ways. You know what you have to do. Take back Fortuno Kingdom, and restore the balance of things.

(I'd love to do a roleplay with this plot. If you would too, dm me? :) )
