Heyooooo!
It's me Eevee, again with a terrible plot and hopes that someone will take a bite! I've been writing a while probably since I was 12. I'm 29 now so it's been about 17 years, yikes! Anyway, I am a writer who enjoys some structure and descriptions so probably about 2-5 paragraphs per reply is what I require. I implore you to write more because I truly love details and descriptors. I suck at them but I sure love to read them! I'll post an example after I spell out my plot. I have no real schedule for writing, I try to get on daily to check and I usually reach out if my replies are going to take a bit longer than normal because as we all know life gets super hectic at times. I love gore and violence, however, this plot likely will not have any. I am not a huge fan of overly sexual content, if it fits within the plot so be it but I hate having roleplays centered around it. Romance is cool and sex is natural in those plots but I really would prefer it to be tastefully introduced and talked about before we get into it. Anywho, here goes the plot. I should mention that the idea and plot come from one of those random stories on those terrible "You Choose" story apps. I got lost in one on a slow work day and here we are. :)
ZE PLOT!:
MC and YC have known each other since they were children. They played together because they had to. They were the same age and in the same grade and had come from the same background. Their fathers were wealthy business tycoons, and their mothers were fierce fabulous homemakers, and let's be honest, the secret of why their family businesses ran so well. As they grew and went off to middle and high school they went their separate ways and fell into their own social circles and that childhood friendship they had was just that. It never progressed. After they graduated and went off to college, they never really had spoken again besides saying happy birthday or checking in once in a while on social media.
They'd cross paths at Gala's and such but they'd be with their dates or networking with other families to create stronger bonds with other businesses. It should be mentioned that MC and YC had been affianced when they were younger but as they grew fought tooth and nail for their families to back off. YC was a huge flirt and would cycle through women like the days of the week. MC was deemed by many as a maneater, she didn't care for love. She wanted what she wanted and that was mainly sex. Men did nothing for her but give her a headache. She cared only for her father's business and worked her way up the ladder. She had to work hard as a woman and was usually competing with her brother, Gabriel.
Months ago her father had fallen ill and passed away and he left the business to both of them, of course leaving her incompetent brother as the CEO. This of course infuriated her because he knew the business but didn't know the first thing about running one. She did everything from behind the scenes but of course, no one respected her as the only woman on the board.
One day YC pops up at MC's place and gives a very strange proposal...
"Marry me?"
Of course, MC thinks he's joking and ignores him but soon finds how serious he is. If she didn't marry him he would be stuck marrying someone else, a trophy wife who was going to bleed him dry and make his life a living hell. This gets MC thinking - his family has shares that she would be in control of and she could bring them to her father's business. That would give her an advantage over her brother and she'd be able to keep the business afloat even with Gabriel fumbling about in his role as CEO. She didn't need the title, she just needed the power. She would own shares in the business from both sides. MC and YC draw up a deal and eventually, she says yes, except neither of them expected to be so attracted to one another.
Can these two heirs play the role well and convince their families that they are truly in love and want to marry? Will this remain a business deal or will these two opposites fall for one another?

A writing sample:
A wild heap of brown curls highlighted with bits of golden blonde and bronze strands stirred beneath gray and white sheets. Dainty manicured hands exited the same sheets and pulled them down to reveal a sleepy freckled woman with light brown skin. The woman opened her mouth to yawn which would show white teeth with a single diamond decorative gem on each of her incisors. She would then open her eyes to display pale, light green -almost yellow- eyes with specks of gold littered throughout. "Good morning sweetie..." she purred to her cat. A Scottish Fold named Tabitha. She sat up in bed and wiped the sleep from her eyes. Moments later she was out of the bed and in the bathroom, brushing her teeth and washing her face. "Ok Tab, today is going to be good..."
Ivy Denise Strossenburg finished primping herself in the mirror and went off to brew her coffee and turn on the daily news. Today was a breaking story about mutants and how they were being hunted, the news station was looking for anonymous tips and offering a rather large reward for any captures. This caused Ivy to release an exasperated sigh and roll her eyes at the notion of people giving off said tips. She couldn't believe people would sell out others like that, luckily for her, she didn't know many people other than the dancers she worked with at Nova Nightclub. However, Ivy didn't stay in many places for long and this was the longest she stayed anywhere. The people here were all wacky in their own right so her little quirks didn't give off much suspicion. This city felt more like home than any place she ever had been.
Since this story was top news, Ivy would need to find a new place to go soon however dreadful that felt for her. She knew that the reward would increase in the coming days and the higher the offer the more mutant hunters would show up. It would only be a matter of time before someone would be knocking down on her door.
BANG!BANG!BANG!
"Sooner or later," she whispered. "Didn't even get to drink my damn coffee." Ivy tiptoed over to the door and looked out of the peephole. It was her landlord and two men dressed in black attire. She wasn't expecting them to come this soon. Good thing she packed light. It was time to gather her things.
About two minutes later, the banging increased and she heard the key going into the hole that her landlord possessed. This prompted Ivy to grab her bags, her cash, Tabitha the cat, and her freshly brewed cup of coffee and take to the fire escape to get away. By the time they got into her apartment, Ivy was down the fire escape and halfway to her stashed car. It was an old beaten-up Buick regal in a midnight blue color riddled with scratches and rust. Either way, this car got her through hell and high water and from point A to B. Beulah was her name and she would get her out of trouble yet again.
