What I'm Looking For In a Partner:
Writing Sample (Male):
Writing Sample (Female):
If any of this is up your alley, please feel free to reply here or DM me. :)

- My name is Missa (she/her). I'm 33 and I live in the EST time zone.
- I have been roleplaying for almost ten years. I took a break for six years but then I came back to it during COVID.
- I'm happily married with a dog and enjoy gaming, cooking, and spending money on indulgent stuff.

- I work full-time and like to occasionally touch grass. Sometimes I can reply a few times a day, and sometimes it might be a few days or even a week if there isn't consistent contact. Sometimes I forget and I need to be nudged. If something comes up for me, I usually tend to communicate that.
- I write third person, past tense about 99% of the time. I would prefer if my partners wrote in the same style that I do, but I can try to be flexible.
- Response length for average replies tends to be 200-400 words and starters average around 500-700 or about 3-5 paragraphs. My writing style is not particularly verbose and I don't write a lot of internal monologues. I like a lot more back and forth, action/conversations moving, etc. If you are looking for a novella rper, I am not it!
- All my characters are 20+ because I don't enjoy writing children unless there's a portion of the roleplay that's a flashback or something.
- I write a mix of male and female characters. I do not personally write trans characters out of my own comfort, but I am happy to write with someone else's!
- I am generally comfortable with many dark themes and smut. I like it when smut scenes are detailed and integrated into the plot, but I don't have a preferred mix for how much smut I want to write. I just prefer some build-up to it.
- I write OCs these days and I usually work from characters I've already created. However, I am willing to make new ones if it makes sense for the plot.
- I'm doubling friendly. Just ask!

- Historical/Alt History (not necessarily medieval, could be 19th/20th century)
- Vampires/Werewolves/Fae/Other Supernaturals
- Forbidden Romance/Cheating and Affairs
- Low/Modern Fantasy (I like some world building but I'm not a lore book kind of person)
- Cyberpunk/Steampunk (should be rooted in some existing property to guide the plot)
- Abilities (magic, mutations/superpowers, etc.)
- Power Struggles
- Age Gap (within reason)
- Obsession/Passion
- Omegaverse
- There's only one bed at the inn and we have to share...

- School/University settings (it's fine, but it tends to get boring quickly)
-
- Soft Dominant Men: Need a man for your plots? I've got 'em and I'm happy to write them.
- Strong Female Characters: I have a range in ten different colors.
- Quirky Side Characters: Most roleplays need some side characters to give it life.
- Adorable Himbos: Love writing them and happy to write with one with you.
- Best Friends to Lovers: I would love to write about a deep bond between friends who realize they love each other (and also want each other carnally).
- Enemies to Lovers: This could be in any kind of setting: work/office, fantasy/medieval, etc. But they need to HATE each other!
- Supernatural Being/Human: I'm down with most supernaturals like werewolves, vampires, mermaids, fae, etc.
- Royal/Commoner: Any variation thereof and it doesn't need to be medieval, can be modern-day.
- Sugar Daddy/Sugar Baby: I just want to have one of my male characters spoil a beautiful young woman, okay?
- Bodyguard/Famous Person or Celebrity: Would be even more fun if this was a female bodyguard and a male famous person/celebrity.
- Professor/Student: Just as long as the student isn't 18/19 (needs to be 20+ at least) and professor should be 30s/40s.
- Greek Mythology/Fairy Tale Retellings: Let's just make it fun/dark please! And no, I am not tired of Hades/Persephone retellings.
- Superhero/X-Men Mutations: While it doesn't need to be rooted in a specific universe, I would love to play around with characters and their abilities.
- Race Car Drivers Romance (could be M/M or M/F):What do I need to do have someone write two guys who race fast cars and then wanna make out with each other?
-
- The Lobster: In another timeline, humans are required to select a "life mate" in order to continue the dominance of the human race or else they are turned into an animal of their choosing within two months of being officially "unattached." Humans who are single for various reasons (divorce, death of a spouse/partner) must report to special hotels to pick new a new "life mate." Our characters meet at one of the special hotels and begin to bond to avoid turning into an animal.
- Cultural Exchange: Our characters are from opposing kingdoms, and to avoid further escalation of conflicts, our leaders agree to a cultural exchange. At first, our characters do not like each other but bond over time. This might require some world building/light lore if there's magic/supernatural abilities involved.
- What Really Happens at the Office: This is more smut-focused, but I'd like to write about a workplace affair between two coworkers. It can have different power dynamics like boss/subordinate but that's easily negotiable.

- Partners who are at least 25+ in age as it's easier for me to connect with someone who's closer in age to me.
- Partners who can write in the same style as me and have the same mentality of "quality over quantity" but aren't writing 1-2 sentences per response. You are welcome to match me but I will struggle to match someone who writes more than 700-1000 words per reply. I can do it, but it will take longer for me.
- Someone who's able to contribute and plot throughout the writing process. I like opinions and suggestions and want to make sure you're getting to write what you want to write as well.
- Able to write more than one character type. I write both male and female characters who are complex. I am also down to double and create small casts, develop some light lore and world build.
- Flexible, understanding, mature and has a good sense of humor.
- Doesn't mind chatting OOC sometimes. I'm here to write but I don't mind having a friendly rapport or discussing our lives/interests a bit. I'm NOT here to play therapist though!
- Communicates with me. Look, we've all been ghosted and it sucks, y'all. If you're not feeling our roleplay or are struggling on how to proceed, just let me know. We can always drop it or work on something else. I'd rather hear someone be honest about their feelings than just kinda ghost me. I'm not the type to get upset either if it's not working for you.
- I don't care much about gender pairings, but I tend to write M/F or M/M the most. I have little experience writing F/F or polyships/triangles but I'd be down if someone asked and I could give it the old college try.
- Faceclaim friendly. I don't mind anime/manga pictures but descriptions, real faceclaims/AI-generated, or drawn characters are preferred. Not a deal breaker, though.

As Nadir walked upstairs, he needed to collect himself. Certainly, she was not wrong about having a long day and an emotionally draining one at that, but spending it with her was special. She'd been patient and understanding, letting him chatter away as they placed flowers and then retired to the house to relax. Likewise, laying down and reading with her was just nice. He trusted her with this large part of himself, but the other part of himself wanted this thing with her to be, well, for a long time. After all, they were basically immortal and he didn't expect her or himself to disappear anytime soon.
As he entered his room and began to undress, he thought about her in his arms, warm, soft and comfortable. The words in his head when he thought about her weren't ones he'd said to her yet, but they were there and playing over and over in his head.
Aşkım. Hayatım. Sevgilim.
My love. My life. My darling.
Laying in bed, he imagined her sleeping beside him soundly, his arms wrapped loosely around her. And yet, there was a part of him that held back because well, this hadn't been her choice, hadn't it? He hadn't saved her either, and maybe she'd grown to enjoy her life with him, but she certainly didn't feel the same way he did, did she? She'd softened, grown into her role as a wife and mistress of the house, but she was not his lover.
His eyes closed. Then he pictured her smile, the glimpse of her breasts and legs, and her long, beautiful, brown hair flowing behind her. It was blissful, and it was enough to relieve him of his temptation for her.

Hedvika learned the word 'fire' at an early age. Growing up in southern Bohemia, farther away from the larger cities and towns, she learned how to survive. Her parents were simple folks, people whose great-grandparents and grandparents survived the occupation of Czechoslovakia during WWII, and they survived everything afterwards during the Cold War. Her mother was a hairdresser at one of the salons in town and her father worked the land, producing wheat and sugar beets. She had a younger sister, but she was born five years after Hedvika and they couldn't have been more different.
She recalled watching her father use an old technique called slash-and-burn to "reset" the fields after a crop, seeing the fields go up in flames to add ash to the soil as nutrients. The draw she felt towards the flame was unlike any other, and she couldn't explain it either. Her father was skilled at controlling the burning, able to douse it quickly if it ran out of control.
"If you think it's going to run out of control, you call me," her father said, having started to train her to help around the farm.
Hedvika didn't really want to be a farmer. If anything, she spent a lot of time with her head buried in a book or on her family computer. A writer perhaps? Or maybe she would become a firefighter instead. They controlled the flames, didn't they? Just like her father (but with better benefits and more pay).
