August brings yet another writing challenge!! For this month, the focus is on dialogue and action; and what better way than to embrace a format that focuses on both? Your prompt for this month:
Write a Screenplay-Styled Scene from the Life of an Anti-Hero.
For a basic guide on how to structure these, this image here provides an outline. Please be aware we are not going to be especially strict on formatting, we just ask that entries follow the basic rules of screenplays (dialogue-based with technical action descriptions, not getting into a character's head, etc). Please limit yourself to one reasonable length scene. Site rules apply as always, though we will allow underage protagonists for challenge entries so long as no sex or significant violence is involved. Finally,
Please post all entries as a thread in this forum (Link) with a unique title. The Deadline for this month is Sunday, August 25th, 2019. Please have all entries posted by that evening (EST)
