(TW: Background Info Including Sexual Abuse)
This is just basically a simple plot that I came up with after watching this scene on YouTube (small inspiration I guess you could say). Its a very loose plot and I don't have much in mind for it yet, so I'm more than willing to discuss and change things up or decide with my partner how things went down between our characters.
Basically, what I have in mind right now, is this:
F (my character) was best friends with M (your character) for years. With their families being close and their parents best friends, the two of them were inseparable. They spent breaks, holidays, vacations, and weekends together constantly, whether it be just hanging out at each other's houses, having sleep overs, or going on trips together. Eventually, as they grew older, that strong friendship seemed to develop into unspoken feelings between the two of them, the two sharing in small moments here or there, but both too nervous for the longest time to take that leap.
Little did M know that all those years he was friends with F, he discovered just what was happening to her whenever they were at all of these fun family functions. That his older brother, B, was hurting her in some of the worst ways possible. And M, who looked up to his brother like he was a superhero never guess he would do such a thing to the girl he cared so much for.
And because of how great a guy B was to everyone and how perfect he seemed to everyone else, F never said anything for the longest time, because she feared that if she did, no one would believe her that he would do something like that.
This continued through school and even into college, until one night, F finally breaks down and confesses to M what his brother had been doing to her all these years (what the exact circumstances are to her confessing is up in the air. Could be they are about to finally have a romantic moment, or could be something as simple as her saying she doesn't want to go home for a break and he presses for why. We can discuss how we want that to go and whether that reveal is played out or part of background info).
M struggles to believe F (again, because of how much he loves and looks up to his brother) and F cries and tells him to forget it, solidifying her belief that no one would believe her.
What happens from there is up to us. My thought is that F buries that secret back inside and doesn't ever tell anyone else, but also doesn't return home (always giving her parents this excuse or that), and with the strain of the confession and not feeling believed by M, she transferred colleges soon after and the two don't see each other again for a little bit (the time, again, is up to us. Could be a year or two, or four or five).
How they reunite as well is up for discussion. Could be they have a chance run in, or she returns home for some event or holiday. Up to us lol. Could even be a kid in the mix if we want (the brother's kid from the abuse, but as far as their families know, its from a one night stand in college). Or not if family rps not my partner's thing lol. Totally flexible.
