Hair style: Darius' hair is soft and medium length, trailing halfway down the back of his neck and hanging loosely and unkempt over his eyes unless swept back.
Distinguishing features: Darius' body is covered in scars of various sizes. Most of his scars are on his upper body and take the appearance of bite marks and scratches. A few scratch scars are also on his face.
Apparel: It's sometimes difficult for Darius to stick to one set of clothing, when his transformation is complete his clothes either tear or fall off his body completely. If Darius begins his transformation at will then he would usually strip down and stash his clothes in a nearby, recognisable location.
He does prefer casual and loose fitting clothing such as jeans, t shirts or tank tops, a thin jacket and boots.

When Darius was just a few days old he was found abandoned by the riverside of a nearby village. He was found by a fisherman who adopted him into his family.
Growing up with the fisherman and his wife Darius learned basic hunting skills; when he was a child he always had recurring nightmares of a huge, savage, wolf.
When Darius hit puberty was when it all began. He noticed his body rapidly changing and bulking out, gaining muscle and strength without working out, his hearing, sense of smell and eyesight became much sharper than anyone he knew. He used his increased strength to help out in the village and for three more years all was well.
Three years later, one night he transformed into a large black wolf during a particularly bad nightmare. The beast he became savagely killed his adoptive mother and father. Darius awoke the following morning, naked, cold and confused in the wilderness, he managed to steal some clothes from a small house on the outskirts of his village. Once returning to his village he was told a savage wolf had killed the only two people in his life he loved.
Darius finally learned that he was the animal that killed his own parents and ran away from the village to avoid any further murders. He grew to hate this other side of him and what it had done but also understood he needed to try to control the savage animal inside of him, like it or not it was part of him now. For seven years he lived in the forest, working on various techniques such as meditation and self control.
Darius has come a long way from the village and can now usually transform at will. He will never forgive the other side of him and still dislikes transforming which sometimes can't be avoided if he gets extremely angry or upset.
