Name: Dawn

Age: 18

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 105 lbs

Eye Color: Dark brown

Hair Color: Reddish-brown

Skin color: Olive

Relationship Status: Single

Weapon of Choice (Conditional): Dagger

Talents/Skills: Dawn is half human, half red fox, which enables her to shift between forms; in human form, she is incredibly hypersensitive to sound and smell, and well as fast and agile; she has a gift for healing.

Siblings: Two older brothers, both neglectful and abusive

Personality: Dawn does whatever she can to avoid conflict. She's often quiet and keeps to herself, and has difficulty connecting with people and developing relationships, although once she has acquired a friend she is fiercely loyal. She hates arguments and when people are dissatisfied with her or the way she does things; she's introverted, and very polite/generous.

Mannerisms: When Dawn is nervous, she twists her hands or plays with her fingers; she avoids eye contact and talks very softly; when she's angry, she'll clench her fists and/or teeth repetitively.

Hobbies: Hiking, exploring, being outdoors, singing

Greatest flaw: Dawn is not at all assertive (although she has no tolerance for people who don't care about others), which gets her into situations that she'd rather not be in; she's not good at standing up for herself; she is insecure and thinks more with her heart than her head.

Best quality: Dawn is incredibly kind and compassionate, always ready to help someone in need no matter how well she knows them.

Greatest fear: Rejection, and being taken advantage of.

Background: Dawn grew up in a home with loving parents (the only ones who knew about her unique genealogy), although they were naive and oblivious to the fact she often felt alone and unwanted. Dawn's two older brothers, Damien and Xavier, were often angry and aggressive for no apparent reason, making it their mission to create a dominating role over Dawn and everything she did. Because of this, her innate shyness and social anxiety got the best of her sometimes, which is why she often has trouble connecting with people and making friends. At 16, her parents sent her to camp, where they hoped she'd learn some independence and self sufficiency. Halfway through the two week session, she called from a counselor's phone in tears asking to come home. An argument took place, and after deciding that Dawn really wasn't where she needed to be, her parents got in the car and began the 3 hour drive to pick her up. Halfway there, their small car was struck head-on by a semi (the driver was later discovered to be drunk), killing both the car's occupants and leaving Dawn and her two older brothers without parents. When her brothers were informed, they chose to cope with their grief through blame, since Dawn had indirectly caused the accident, and they already weren't fans of their little sister. This blame resulted in a fierce hate and bitterness towards Dawn, who was brutally beaten (worse then usual) and forced out of the home, forcing the independence that her now dead parents had so wished for. At 17, she had three different odd jobs that supported her and her minimalist lifestyle.

Name: Willow Darkrose

Age: 18

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 100 lbs

Eye Color: Emerald Green

Hair Color: Blonde

Skin color: Pale

Talents/Skills: Willow is a gifted artist in almost any form....sculpting, sketching, painting (all mediums), etc.

Siblings: None

Mannerisms: Willow often brushes her fingers through her long hair when she's uncomfortable, or twists the ends of it.

Hobbies: Anything artsy, reading, napping

Greatest flaw: Willow often assumes the worst of people that she is unsure about. She's distrustful and very good at holding a grudge.

Best quality: Willow is strong willed and determined; she knows how to take care of herself and won't let anyone get in the way of her happiness.

Additional Information: Willow often gets into altercations with people she doesn't like (there are quite a few of those). She lives with her mom (who is almost never home, always taking spontaneous trips), and works at a coffee shop in the small town she lives in.

Background: Willow grew up in an abusive home with a father who beat her violently. When her mother finally found out, as she'd been too scared to mention it, she filed for a divorce and left Willow's father. They've moved often ever since, and unfortunately her now single mother is so focused on keeping food on the table that she sometimes forgets she has a daughter. That being said, Willow grew up generally neglected and is therefore fiercely independent if not a little shy.

Name: Ebony Beil

Age: 19

Height: 5'7"

Weight: 130 lbs

Eye Color: Blue

Hair Color: Blue (dyed); natural hair color is black

Skin color: White

Bodily markings: Tattoo sleeve on her right arm and ear/nose piercings; she also has several scars from gang fights and other altercations.

Relationship Status: Single and not looking

Weapon of Choice (If the roleplay calls for it): Handgun

Talents/Skills: Fixing things - metalwork and woodwork

Siblings: None

Personality: Ebony is extremely closed off and shows very little emotion to people she either doesn't know or doesn't trust; she usually has good intentions but is unsure of how to execute them in a way that won't cause trouble; she's fiercely loyal and overly protective, never hesitant to put herself in danger for someone she cares about; secretive and distrustful.

Hobbies: Fixing objects and situations

Greatest flaw: Sometimes apathetic and unfeeling

Best quality: Loyal and protective of those she loves

Greatest fear: Captivity

Background: Ebony grew up within a criminal gang that her single father was a part of. Because she saw people torment and kill without lifting a finger, she is completely desensitized to violence within the criminal world. Around the age of 16, she met a boy from a small town she'd travelled to, and he convinced her to escape with him and detach herself from the violent lifestyle she was living. A little starstruck and naively in love, she agreed, leaving her father and 'family' at the organization and running off in hopes of a better life.
Her troubles began when she received a threatening note from a member of the gang she'd been apart of, explaining that if she didn't drop everything and return, they would come after her and eliminate the possibility of her ever telling anyone about her past. When her 'lover' found out, he left, afraid and in a hurry, leaving Ebony alone and to fend for herself. Hurt and betrayed, she found herself a job and a temporary place to live, all the while watching her own back for signs of the threat becoming a reality.
A few years later, when she was 18, her walk home was interrupted by a familiar face and a gun to her chest. She managed to disarm her attacker and turn the gun on him, hesitating only for a moment before pulling the trigger, hoping that the threat of her past catching up to her was now erased.
Now, at the age of 19, she lives alone in an apartment complex and works the night shift as a server at a tavern in her small town.
