hey there, i'm candy, i'm 22, and i'm a huge ghostface simp
i have an oc i put into a stalker/murderer au, and he worked because of his possessive tendencies and slut shaming mindset, but it wasn't really hitting. because at the end of the day, he's a real romantic at heart, so the story couldn't be all that dark
then i had another oc whose behaviour leaned into narcissistic cannibalism and psychologically damaging gaslighting, but i had to rework him for a more lighthearted/almost comedic southern gothic setting, so out went all of his more depraved traits
this isn't me complaining by the way—i enjoyed both of those rps—but they didn't really scratch the itch i had to write a obsessed stalker, so here i am now

i held off on making this thread for so long, because i couldn't decide how to rp a stalker (mc) x victim (yc) dynamic while maintaining the dangerous allure of a masked assailant in a storytelling medium that's meant to be collaborative. rp is fun when your characters are interacting on page, but stalkers aren't meant to be seen
i still haven't fully figured out how to tackle this. perhaps it's a dynamic like that in kid at the back where ocs are friends, and mc maintains an outwardly friendly persona while going behind yc's back to break into his home, steal his laundry, plant hidden cameras, etc. maybe ocs are step brothers?
yc could be mc's jaded college professor craving more excitement in his life
they could even be exes with a complicated history
it would be fun if yc is currently already dating someone too, and both, mc and yc, get a kick out of yc cheating on his significant other. perhaps the person yc is dating is mc's sibling or best friend
i love a bit of an age gap too, so maybe mc is yc's sibling's best friend, and mc had a bit of a puppy crush on yc before yc went off to college (or the other way around if yc is younger—yc was the one with the puppy crush). they could've shared a kiss before one of them moved away that the other never moved on from
i'd be open to more traditional pairings such as celebrity x stalker, onlyfans creator/twitch streamer x stalker, or even one where ocs have no pre established relationship, but i'm slightly less inclined towards these unless the supporting plot is intriguing enough

initially i was thinking it'd be fun if yc was sexually inexperienced, but the more i thought about it, i realised it'd be super funny if it was the stalker who'd nearly cream his pants just from shoving his tongue into yc's mouth and the one who'd be exceedingly turned on just by putting his fingers in yc's mouth lol
i also love a good younger, taller top (mc) x older, shorter bottom (yc) dynamic, so if we can make that work, i'd be so grateful
long live size and height difference ships. and with that being said, i've also been in the mood to write against more twink-shaped characters LOL. it goes with the whole size difference thing haha
i LOVE the concept of the victim lowkey being a little into his stalker too—playing it up for the hidden cameras, keeping the notes and gifts, following orders to walk into a dark alleyway and not scream, text banter making their heart pound with anticipation, etc
one last thing i should mention: i am open to both mxm and mxftm pairings! boycunt is always welcome in this house <3

NOTE: this entire tab makes it sound like the rp is going to be way darker than it actually is, so to preface: i write romances first and foremost, and i do want this to be a dark romance story, but the nature of this rp requires some level of nuance and dub-con
everything mentioned in this tab is negotiable btw
although i don't have a premade oc for this, i mostly write (service) tops leaning dominant, so that's to be expected here as well
i know the nature of stalker rps can welcome a lot of non-con elements, and while that is also a given here (drugging, somnophilia, kidnapping, etc), i wish for no violent non-con between ocs. i do want to write some hard kinks in this story, but i don't want mc raping yc; yc is free to fight mc, and even refuse the advances, but i want some level of convoluted mental consent/display of pleasure to be established from yc's side. if not verbally then at least through his actions and inner monologue
i personally don't write penetrative somnophilia all that enthusiastically, but i do think mc will be the type to kiss/play with yc while he's asleep. sometimes, he'll leave evidence of the night before, and sometimes he won't
and hence, vouyerism is a given (because what's a stalker rp without hidden cameras planted into the victim's room, and one-sided mutual masturbation)
knife/gun/fear play would be fun to include too. mc chasing yc through the woods, and when—in typical horror movie fashion—yc trips, mc straddles him and pushes his face into the dirt. which leads to a bit of a sadomasochistic dynamic. i don't write it all that extensively; i mean it to the extent of mc skullfucking and slapping yc. maybe choking. and definitely some mild cbt in the form of stepping on yc's dick. intermixed with some degrading name calling (with praise, of course, because yc isn't just a slut, he's a perfect little slut)

i've been in a bit of a slump where i still want to create stories with my ocs though, but it's been difficult for me to sit down with the intention to write long, detailed, and thought-out replies
so, i'm mainly looking for a casual rp where i don't have to be as meticulous about my prose or reply length; i'm typically a "show, don't tell" writer, so i go heavy on writing mc's reactions to yc via his actions rather than his thoughts. here's an excerpt from something i would've written previously:
now, here's me quickly rewriting it with my "prose" brain turned off:He glances over at Aleksandr. The way he holds the smoke in his body, slow and sensual. The road pulls Kirill's gaze back, neon digits on the dash race past the tens, careening into an alarming rate of increasing hundreds. Below him, there's a significant lurch of torque. His eyes flicker back to Aleksandr again, watching as he breathes out the ashy billows of smoke. A vein throbs somewhere behind his brow.
Aleksandr, through the haze of these carbon fumes—inhaling what he exhales, exhaling what he draws into the dredges of his lungs—keeps talking. Casual. Conversational. As if they were amiable colleagues. Friends.
Kirill isn't allowed to smoke; there was a time when Aleksandr would ask him before fishing for his lighter.
A time when it was a familiar weight in his pocket. Like keys. Like a gun.
Fuck this. Fuck all of this.
It boxes them in—the thick whirls of bitter cigarette vapour as it curls along the interior trim—makes his knuckles itch, and the ligaments behind his pupils pulse with a restrained edge of fury.
The latex burns through the folds of his skin when his grip creaks over the wheel, and he sits in that acrid silence broken only by the sizzle of Aleksandr's blazing cigarette. Tongue sucking over his front teeth in quiet, seething deliberation, Kirill hums absentmindedly under his breath. Contemplating. The tobacco hisses to his left again, and he sinks his molars into the moist cavity of his cheek. Lets it bleed—salt and sharp.
Forced to drive this man around as his chaperone. What was he here for? As though his mission wouldn't be over in half the time without the dead weight on Kirill's shoulder.
Not to mention how distracting he was too; with the slow drags of his cigarette, and the constant tapping of the paper end on his bottom lip. Kirill keeps stealing glances—can't help the pull of his eyes to the shadow sitting behind him. Can't help the rising pressure in his veins either. The agitation when he catches Aleksandr's lazy gaze on him once; when he doesn't put his cigarette out despite the twitching in Kirill's restless leg.
Why should he care if Aleksandr doesn't? Fuck himself for ever entertaining the hope that Aleksandr might've, and he punishes himself for it with the creak of leather burning under his tightening palms.
i would definitely want to properly write out any scenes both of us are particularly enthusiastic about (whether those are nsfw, emotionally tumultuous, etc), but i'm currently not in the mood to write out every rp scene to the finest detail
my favourite part about rp-ing is developing ocs' relationship ooc via headcanons, plotting, dialogue prompted etc. so, i'm definitely looking for someone who's enthusiastic about chatting ooc, and is even opening to discussing aus!
some other details worth mentioning: i write in third person, present tense. you can use whatever tense and pov you'd like! (yes, even first, haha). i typically reply a couple times per week or every other day, and would prefer similar level of activity from my partner
for faceclaims, i'll mostly mirror whatever my partner uses (animated, realistic, drawn, etc). though usually, i'll lean towards using realistic, albeit "faceless" ones
if you make pinterest boards for ycs, that's extra brownie points. and on that note, i do very minimal character sheets i.e. no elaborate personality or history sections, but i do write fun, trivia facts and love headcanoning
