Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by my request thread and taking a look. Without further ado, let’s get into to.
Who Am I, What’s My Writing Style, Etc.
You can call me Moon, that works well for me. :) I’ve been writing for 12 years or something, I honestly don’t quite remember when. I just know it’s been a decade in this hobby, and I keep coning back to it in the hopes of finding that one right person and RP that we all know rarely comes around.
In terms of my writing style, I am a little writer. I know some people call it novella, and that works too. I easily exceed 500 words per post on average, with lots of descriptive language and all that stuff. You can expect a lot of effort on my part. I probably respond 3 times a week, maybe more or less. I’ll give a warning if there is any irregular deviation from my post frequency. Communication is key in RP’s.
If I’m not feeling it, I’ll be upfront about it. I don’t like to ghost and leave people hanging… been on the receiving end of it too many times, and I know the feeling.
What I Am Looking For:
This is the most critical part of the request thread.
I am looking for a long term RP partner to create thoughtful and engaging characters, in a universe that is interesting in its own right, to write romance stories that are heartfelt and plot heavy.
I really like building a rapport with my RP partner, and I’ve found in the past my best RP’s are when I genuinely get along with and vibe with the person I’m writing with. Because of that, I like to get to know my RP partner. I’m not saying I want to get into your IRL life. But I like to get to know and joke around with the person I’m RPing with. Communication is key, and having fun on top of it is what makes the hobby genuine and true, as opposed to forced and distant.
Because of my more “literate” writing style, I am looking for someone who is similar to me. I never ask that you match my posts (especially if they go over 1,000 words or something). But I do ask that you at least, generally, type 500 words. I find it difficult to engage with less effort and words than what I put in. It’s nothing personal, I just have a hard time with it.
I also ask that we get at least 2 posts a week where possible. Long time between posts can really kill momentum at times, and I try to keep everything fairly consistent on my end to keep plots progressing. Taking weeks to go through a scene is sometimes discouraging.
Smut:
Since smut is allowed on this site, I obviously want to take a moment to state what I am aiming for with it.
Smut isn’t necessarily my goal when I RP.
I don’t care all that much for smut UNLESS the characters grow together, have tension, have falling outs, come together, have a slow-burn romance, FEEL AUTHENTIC. I cannot, and I must emphasize that I cannot write smut without that because I just can’t get my head into it. It doesn’t strike me as authentic unless otherwise.
I want to have characters, a plot, and universe that complement that complement each other and, again, feel real. Smut is more of a reward for that buildup than a cheap add on that feels fake and forced.
Smut is the reward of what is built before it. When smut happens, I’m not opposed to being very descriptive about it, and letting scenes last long. I just want it to be a reward, not a forced gimmick because we can.
To clarify, I enjoy smut, but only when it’s a reward for what we built. Then, I’m all in and savor every moment of it. Otherwise? I can’t write it and I don’t enjoy it.
Summary of what I am looking for…
What Kind of RP’s I’m Looking For
In terms of genres, here is what I like and love to write…
Modern
I’m not necessarily opposed to either of these, but I usually need to be really intrigued. They tend to be very complex, and sometimes those complexities can be a bit tough to work with, so I usually need a good idea of what they’ll explicitly be about.
That said, I do not like non-human (or very similar to human) characters for romances. They must be human, or very close (like Elves). I’m not opposed, but it will be a harder sell. I’m open to considering them, however. I’m usually not one for hardcore scifi.
Fandom
I am not a fandom person. I don’t like to normally mess with something already written. My thing is that writing preexisting characters can be tricky to keep it authentic, but it can be done. I do tend to prefer OC characters and plots as opposed to self-inserting into an existing plot and just copying it. There are a few exceptions to the rule that I don’t mind, but they’re few and far between. Some I would consider are
Now as for things I am not ok with whatsoever is non-consent, any sort of bathroom related stuff, sexual assault, substance abuse, or anything like that as regular things in the RP. They just make me uncomfortable and I’m not willing to do anything like that.
I will not write characters under 18 or high school settings, nor will I accept any character that is under the age of 18 or in a high school. Any fandoms that may include high school settings will have to be POST-HIGH SCHOOL. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Otherwise, I’m willing to answer any questions on this. I’m a bit vague, and that’s somewhat on purpose. I’m more than happy to answer anything on this topic.
Plots I Have Ready
Admittedly I am scarce here. I lost many of mine recently with a hard drive crash. I have only one on hand, and it’s pretty complex and a mix of genres. It’s not my original idea I have to admit, but here’s the tldr overview.
If you made this far, you deserve a medal.
I know I’m asking for a lot, and I know many people probably won’t love what I’m looking for, and that’s ok. But for that one person out there who is looking for what I am, then I am more than happy to pit all the effort into the RP. I like to see things work, not watch them fail.
I’m always open to answering anything questions. You can always shoot me a PM and I’ll gladly answer as soon as I can.
Have a good day everyone!

Summary of what I am looking for…
- A lit partner that writes a minimum of 500 words per post, with at least 2 posts per week on a normal basis
- Someone that I can vibe with and chit chat with OOC, and above all, have fun with
- Someone who values story, plot, worldbuilding, intricate and flawed characters, slow burn AUTHENTIC romances full of tension, falling outs, coming together again, and beauty of their romance
- Smut as a reward, not a cheap gimmick
What Kind of RP’s I’m Looking For
In terms of genres, here is what I like and love to write…
Modern
- Dystopian
- Horror
- Apocalyptic
- Slice of Life (very dependent on what it is. I usually need a solid plot to really get into it.)
- War
- Modern Western
- Modern Fantasy (depends on the plot)
- Supernatural (I’m always a sucker for some kind of supernatural thing)
- Mystery/Thriller
- Western
- World Wars Era
- Cold War
- Victorian Era
- Revolutionary or Civil War
I’m not necessarily opposed to either of these, but I usually need to be really intrigued. They tend to be very complex, and sometimes those complexities can be a bit tough to work with, so I usually need a good idea of what they’ll explicitly be about.

- Violet Evergarden
- Mass Effect
- Halo
- Vampire Diaries
- Lost
- Tomb Raider
- Twilight
- Harry Potter
- Hunger Games
- Disney Princesses (my favs being Ariel and Belle, but open to others with whatever plot we come up with. It wouldn’t need to be solely based around the movies, just the characters themselves.)

Admittedly I am scarce here. I lost many of mine recently with a hard drive crash. I have only one on hand, and it’s pretty complex and a mix of genres. It’s not my original idea I have to admit, but here’s the tldr overview.
In the 1800s, the King of Britain has died. With no sons to take up the throne, it was going to fall upon his daughter, the Princess, to take up the crown as the Queen of England.
However, things didn’t work out that way. Dark, hidden financial forces knew the threat to their power lies within the princess and her husband. They were the only ones who vowed to fight these monetary forces and their corrupting power on the British people. And they were ready to name and arrest them once the crown was on her head. This meant they needed to be disposed of, and betrayal within their own family would work with these forces to make it happen. One night days before the crown was set to rest upon her head, her husband killed, she was knocked unconscious and awoke on a cold, dark, and damp boat, chained to the a wall with no way out. Once a princess destined to be a Queen, now chained and a slave unsure of where her future would be. Defeated, alone, and scared, she would wait day and night, praying the nightmare would end.
Before she knew it, she ended up in a land far removed from her Royal life in Britain—the vast and untamed American Frontier, the Wild West. Here, she would be forced to into slavery, bought by the highest bidder where no one would find her or know who she was. She was reduced to nothing, a prostitute being moved around towns and saloons on the frontier.
The nightmare wouldn’t end until one day an outlaw came across her in one of the towns she was in. The Outlaw, seeking redemption for her own past, finds herself in a situation where she reluctantly helps this girl, a fleeting idea that maybe helping her will help redeem any wrong she’s done, even if it wasn’t her fault for her sins.
But in the middle of this, a forbidden love blossoms as the two fall in love, each on different paths but brought together. But this love, should they survive the frontier, would be full of controversy, especially if they ever made it back in Britain. Will the Outlaw enact her revenge? Will the Princess find her way back to Britain? Will the two fall into a forbidden love unlike anything else? Are they more similar than they think?
There can be more to this. I leave it open to some degree so that we can craft things the way we want it. But this is just the general idea of it.
