MY PERSONAL PREFERENCES & RULES:
  • As a woman in my thirties, I'm more inclined to write and engage with partners no younger than 25. This is a personal preference based on my own comfort level, and not because I'm of the belief that younger writers are any less capable or talented. While I won't demand proof of age, I'll be working under the impression that you're being honest and up front with me about this.
  • I prefer a partner who can post at least ONCE EVERY FEW DAYS. Obviously I understand that real life and responsibilities come first, but I find that I lose interest in a plot or thread if I'm consistently having to wait over a week or more for a reply. Keeping things moving at a relatively regular, rapid pace keeps me invested and present, and gives me some reassurance that you're also just as interested and invested. That being said, if something comes up (you're going on vacation, health issues, simply needing a break etc.) just let me know. I'm more than understanding and will give you the space and time that you need. I only ask that you don't leave me hanging without giving me a head's up, and I'll do you the same courtesy.
  • As far as romantic plots go, I prefer, and almost exclusively, write CIS FEMALE CHARACTERS in HETEROSEXUAL PAIRINGS. There are rare exceptions to this, and I have no problem writing/inserting male NPCS where relevant, but my main characters will almost always be straight women. I'm sorry in advance if this offends anyone.
  • I experiment with post length, POV and tense in my writing. We're always learning and evolving, right? However, please let me know if you have a preference. I will ALWAYS choose whatever my partner is more comfortable with. I will also make a valiant effort to mirror post length, but this isn't always possible. At the very least, I will always provide something with substance for you to reply to.
  • I do work and have social obligations, but I am online every day. Please feel free to private message me if you ever want to chat! Additionally, I try and get my partners a reply once every other day.
  • I can write replies that are upwards of 1,000 words, but that tends to be rare. I prefer to keep them to no longer than 600 words, just because I find that's the sweet spot for me. It keeps things moving and prevents me from filling all that extra word count with irrelevant fluff (no one wants to read that!). Trust me, I'll ramble if you let me, and it's not pretty.
  • I prioritize the quality of writing over aesthetics.
  • I reserve the right to decline RP requests from anyone I feel would not mesh well with me or my writing style. It isn't personal, but we're all here to have fun. I extend this option to anyone I'm writing with. We can be civil adults about the fact that the chemistry just isn't there, can't we? It doesn't mean I think your writing isn't any good! Just that we're not getting what we want out of our partnership, and that's okay!
  • I enjoy cultivating friendships with the people I write with. This means I enjoy chatting and getting to know you as much as I enjoy writing with you. If that's not what you're into though, that's perfectly fine too.

CONTENT PREFERENCES:
  • My preferred genre to write is FANTASY, specifically with medieval influences. However I'm open to writing anything from modern real life to sci-fi to anything in between. It's important to me to always experiment and try new things, so if there's something you really love, I'm willing to do my research with your guidance! If it's anything fandom based however, I'd prefer to keep to things I'm already somewhat familiar with. Or, otherwise, please be open to enduring many inconsistencies and inane questions LOL.
  • I prefer my plots to be dark, gritty and rife with things like: political intrigue, romance, elements of war, torture and interrogation, betrayal, exploring new and unfamiliar lands, arranged marriages, assassinations etc. This doesn't mean to say that I don't enjoy a bit of lightheartedness or fluff, but striking a balance between the two is much preferred.
  • I love writing smut, but I prefer smut with purpose. This doesn't mean to say I won't do smut-centric threads or plots (they're a guilty pleasure) but I do expect a little character development and plot to go with it. At least every so often. Consistently writing erotic scenes that lack any depth or direction bore me after awhile.
  • I do not have any limits as far as the content I write. Excessive violence, sexual content and vulgar language do not bother me. I've written the worst of the worst.
  • PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE WHAT YOUR LIMITS OR HARD NO'S ARE. I WILL ALWAYS ABIDE BY THEM, WITHOUT QUESTION.
  • I will not ever play a character that is unconditionally sweet, wholesome and morally-sound. My characters always have ulterior motives or some kind of villainous intent. They're not all 'evil' per say, but I don't really find a lot of enjoyment in writing or writing against characters that are without flaws or shortcomings.

PREFERRED KINKS AND ROMANTIC TROPES:
  • Skewed power dynamics and power struggles.
  • Facets of BDSM.
  • A dominant male paired with a bratty, submissive female. (My characters will never be fully submissive or unquestioning in the beginning).
  • Unconventional or taboo romantic relationships.
  • Significant age gaps.
  • Arranged marriages.
  • Please private message me for an extensive, detailed list of my preferred sexual kinks in RP.

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR:
  • Group plots/threads set in the Fantasy genre. (Epic quests and a ragtag bunch of adventurers who don't necessarily get along, anyone?)
  • Plots and threads centered around the Dark Fantasy genre.
  • Romance and smut-forward plots.
  • Villainous characters doing nefarious, villainous things together (or against one another).
  • Toxic relationships between problematic characters in the Real Life genre.
  • Anything centered around organized crime or the criminal underground in any genre.
  • Literally anything at this point, to be honest. I just want to write!
