This is an RP about a man who moves to your somewhat rural town, finding work as a handyman. He rents a loft apartment in town and drives a beat up pickup. He tries to be invisible. But he stands 6’7” tall. It is hard for anyone that big to be invisible. Plus he works very hard. That sort of work ethic tends to draw attention from potential employers.
The town, while somewhat rural, should be big enough to disappear in, not quite so small that everyone knows everyone. Smallville from TV would be about the right size.
Despite his attempts to be invisible it is only a matter of time before he catches the attention of a local lady.
He won’t get involved with the criminal element, not any woman who is always making the local news or drawing the attention of the law. She could be a local deputy though. Or maybe part of the DNR (Department of Natural Resources), or maybe a farmer. She might just work at the local diner. The more interesting, the better.
Very bluntly, he doesn’t want attention from the town. If he gets any, he will disappear fast. That should be a hint as to the mystery surrounding this guy.
Your Character
I am going to leave this part up to you. I offered some suggestions. The harder it is for him to keep from showing interest, the better. You will need a CS for your character(s).
