Drake is the oldest of 3. His father is the leader of their village. He had charged Drake with maintaining the safety of everyone. Jordan was the middle child. She often did most of the household things with their mother. As the middle child, she often had to play mediator between Drake and his younger brother, Bale. They fought a lot over the way that Bale chose to live.

Drake is a solitary male Dragon shifter. Although he lives in the village, he has a hut on the outskirts and spends most of his time patrolling the woods to make sure no one found the village. He had been the protector for the last century after they had won the woods back from the Thunderbird clan that now lived on the other side of the mountain range. While he spent most of his life alone, he ate all his meals with his family. They alone were the only ones that he could stand for any length of time.
