Hi! Not new to writing or rping, been doing so for 10 + years. Looking for a few more partners and seeking some specific things and some broad ideas!
{~ If anyone knows what that quote is from -the title-, Can we be friends?! ~}

What I'm looking for:

  • Someone who is patient and doesn't need daily replies
    • I am not the most frequent person on replies, but I do get on almost daily just to check on things or for chats. I like to take my time with my replies and not rush them so I will never press for time, but dont ask for rapid or daily replies. In order to do that the quality of my writing would go way down and that bothers me

  • Please do not come at me with; "I only play subs or bottoms"
    • Its okay to have a preference, or maybe its your comfort zone. Thats up to you and no hate for that. But if you define your characters simply by bedroom-roles then I just can't. Give a chance for the characters to learn eachother and grow as people before we give them sexy-time roles. My characters are people to me and I don't want to shove them in boxes right off the bat.

  • I only have a few hard no's: Incest of any kind, Vore, Scat, Abuse for the sake of abuse, Porn without plot, god-moding
    • There willl be situations as they come up that I might not be comfortable writing, but I'm pretty open minded and I hope my partners would be the same.

  • Be ready for World Building
    • I don't like simply creating a character and jumping right into an rp. Its stressful for me to simply 'wing it'. We don't have to plan every little detail out but to get a good idea of what we want, where its headed, and maybe some minor details of how we'd like the characters to go together. Chatting about the story helps my muse grow and get me excited.
    • I Like OOC chat, and making friends.

  • No One Liners
    • I love to write, and I can write alot. I know that different scenes will require different lengths. But I can't write with someone who can't do at least a few paragraphs of good writing on the regular. It disheartens me, and kills my muse when I post a long reply and then I get something something thats only a paragraph in response. It kills the vibe

  • I love Fantasy and Romance
    • So no matter the plot or idea there will always be romance! Its a must~

Character Driven Plots
I only have a few plot idea, will probably add more for later. Theres a lot of room for building and planning still but I've got a character already in mind or built for these plots. The BOLD role is the role I have a character for.

A Magical Post Apocalyptic type world.

It might have had some modern things a long time ago but now it's a bit more primitive. Some sort of magical disaster happened, reshaped the world and killed most of the population. The event would have happened at least a hundred years prior to any beginning plot, but the world is still rebuilding itself. It's overgrown and full of strange things.

There is no one government or kingdom that rules over another, most of any populated areas are community based. Perhaps there are the beginnings of guilds or something similar. Magic isn't a taboo but it's not well understood yet, or at least to the general population. But it has affected everything in various ways. There are no zombies or infected peoples, no monsters precisely to fight. Just a world reborn from magical chaos.

Character A has lived his whole life with his family, secluded somewhere safe. Not very connected to any other settlements or anything else really. It was a peaceful upbringing. Until something strange was discovered near their home, they brought it back with them and then everything changed. Character A was affected directly, and his family vanished without a trace. Now he's out on his own trying to solve the mystery.

He encounters Character B, who is something of an adventurer himself. They end up journeying together to solve these strange mysteries together.

There are multiple races within this world; Either were already present, or came into being with the 'Event'
There are magical creatures and strange animals. There are those who wish to do others harm, raiders. There are those who train and fight for good.
It's a vast world and I want to build it, expand it.

A medieval-ish space fantasy. "Space Fantasy" as in it could have space travel or planetary travel should we wish it. But I still want to have it have heavy fantasy elements. Someone who would be willing to play with labels and boundaries would be wonderful. It will have violence and gore within it but it doesn't have to be crazy or focused on. It will also have eventual smut, it's not something I want to happen soon or be a major focus for characters in the beginning. Tension? Buildup? Romance, heck yes. But smut will come later.

The Plot:

There is a dark arena owned and operated by the scummiest bastards known this side of the planet/galaxy/universe. They are rich, powerful, and slimy. They can get away with seemingly anything. And what they choose to do is steal, buy, or barter for strange and powerful creatures, people, weapons, ect - anything they can find and then pit them against each other in a bloody arena.

The fights are very popular in the underground and its fighters are no more than slaves. They have no say, no choice. It's either fight or be tossed into something worse.

The Red Champion, MC, is a fighter who has never lost a fight. He is one of the most ruthless fighters this arena has ever seen. The man who owns him has made a massive fortune off the fights. No one knows who he once was, what his real name is, or how exactly this scumbag caught and captured such a beast as he. He kills faster than any other fighter, has no mercy, and is never seen outside the arena.

The man who owns him, Cobdak, keeps him locked away in a special cell when not in a fight. And only uses him when he isn't certain his other prizes can fight, or if someone challenges the Red Champion's title.

There is a new tournament to which the top fighters will have the 'honor' of pitting themselves against the Red Champion. Whoever wins will get the chance at Freedom. Whether or not that is true the fighters do not know, so they are giving it their all.

Either A: Character B is one of these fighters. Perhaps unlucky enough to be rather new and maybe strong enough to survive. But something about them is different, special somehow. During this final fight MC senses that and finally has the missing piece to his escape plan that he's been brewing for decades.

They escape together and decide if they then go separate ways or if they stick together. There is no way Codbak is letting his highest prize run away.

Or

B: Character B is something ultra rare and has been offered up as the tournament's Prize. Whoever wins these final fights will win them. Cobdak wants Character B with a fiery passion and uses the Red Champion thinking it will be an easy win.

Either way there's something about Character B that sparks the champion into action and he busts out of his imprisonment and intends on using Character B as a part of his escape plan. They need to figure out how to escape together and then what comes after.

MC is very fleshed out. I have a picture, a CS and a whole background about who he is and the why/how of his 'never losing a fight'. He was cursed in the past with never being able to die, so no matter what happens death eludes him. This doesn't give him any special powers, or heightened abilities, and any wound he gets he feels it just like everyone else. It does heal faster than the average person, but it scars all the same. His skills in a fight are earned through his years of being thrown in this arena, he fights with his hands.

And yet another Fantasy plot! ((there is a trend here XD))

This one has a sort of title that is the Main Inspiration; The Hero who saved the World but can't Save His True Love

Muse A, a basic 'hero' trope in skill and outward appearance, has been trained since birth to fulfill his role. Became the best fighter in the kingdom and fought against countless 'evils' to save their little section of the world. He is praised and loved across their kingdom, favored by the king and queen, and held in high esteem by nearly everyone. There is a constant pressure on him to be this hero role that he hides who he is on the inside from everyone, excpet one person. Muse B. They've known each other since they were children, met in the palace, and bonded strongly.

Their adult lives keep them busy and apart, but their bond is strong. They try to find moments to be together, secret places to sneak off to and have a moment of truth. Muse A loves Muse B strongly. But Muse B has their own problems, similiar to Muse A's in that there is a role they must fulfill and aren't allowed to live outside the confines of that role.

So its essentially a forbidden romance. Not just their roles keeping them apart but perhaps also the scrutiny of their genders. Muse A is this hero that has 'saved the world' when all he wants to do is live freely with the one he loves most. And yet he can't save either of them from their own circumstances.

I have a character built already for Muse A. The world needs a little building, and I would love some imput and ideas thrown in. The hope with this plot is to have a lot of hurdles on their path to love and peace.

Darker Themes, Still Fantasy.

In a kingdom where magic is forbidden by the everyday citizen there are desginated mages for certain tasks and placed in particular towers around the whole of the kingdom. The captial itself has a few of these towers, but there is one mage prized above all. The King's Mage, not simply a title but a mage the king himself keeps close to him at all times. No one knows from where this mage comes but it seems as though he has been beside the throne for centuries. There are rumors and stories wildly different from the next about just who this mage is, how old they are, or where they come from.

The truth is the royal families darkest secret.

The Mage is not infact immortal or any such thing. In fact it isn't even the same mage as before, each generation a new mage takes on the title and the citizen are none the wiser. Mostly because the mage looks the same regaurdless. This is because there is a sequestered clan of elves locked away in a dungeon beneath the castle, hiden and only shown to those closest to the crown. Long ago this tribe of mages, befor magic was outlawed, were captured by the ancient rulers and held prisoners. A deal was struck, they would remain alive, 'taken' care of, and safe from exstinction if they promised to serve the king and kingdom from then on.

Now each new generation, when the previous mage is retired or having been killed, a new memeber of this hidden clan is chosen to take the place of the previous mage. Meanwhile the rest of their people are kept prisoner in this anceint dungeon, away from the light, from other people, practically starving. Their children are groomed to be the top mages as soon as they are able to learn, while mates are carefully selected to prevent inbreeding, and they remain seperated most of the time to ensure rioting does not occure.

Muse A, is the current King's Mage. He has not been for that long, but -unfortunately for him - he is one of the most talented of his people the royal line has seen in a few generations.

There is more I could say on the mage himself, his people, and the kingdom too. But I would love someone to help me world build this plot and figure out who his future love interest will be exactly. Not The King! perferrably someone from outside the whole royal family, or even the kingdom itself. Other than that it could be anyone, how do their plot lines collide? How do they get to know eachother when Muse A is nothing more than a prisoner?

Expect this one to have a bunch of darker themes throughout; pain, hurt, betrayal, violence, trauma, PTSD, ect. While it would stil be nice to have a few moments of fluff sperced in there, that is not the general theme here. I want these character to go through hell and back before they find their happy ending.

CRAVING
A Regency-esk Romance

~ For this one I already have a world mostly built and a Character well thought out. This is because it was a plot I was going to do a while ago with another partner, to which I seem to have been ghosted. Which is fine! it happens, but I am desperate to write this plot out and would love if anyone would take an interest~

Liria, a beautiful continent and kingdom spersed with culture and thriving on all fronts. The agriculture rivals its neighbors, and the trade routes are vast; its citizens thrive on freedom and peace that was long hard fought for and now its descendants live an almost paradise-like existence. But the continent of Liria is rather large, and split into factions.

~Central Liria, where the kingdom comes together and surrounds the large castle built generations before. It is the main hub for all trade, and home to the many, many nobles tied to the royal family.
~West Krund, where the main bulk of the Liria continent sits, holds vast forests and farm lands. It stretches for hundreds of miles in most directions, farms for nearly every crop imaginable exists within the western borders.
~South Horrot, the smallest district of all for it is mostly the land bridge between Liria and Brasta. Brasta is the country beyond the southern borders of Liria to which they have been allied with for many generations. Their hotter temperatures, sandy plains, and trade of numerous spices have bonded the two kingdoms for many, many years past.
~ East Doalon, a beautiful expanse of rolling hills, meadow fields and large lakes. It is most prized for its countryside manors and where the nobles of the kingdom love to spend their summer months basking in the peace and beauty their ancestors wrought.
~Lower North Row, a long stretch of sectioned land that stands between Central Liria and the barren northlands. It is mostly used by the guards and knights posted regularly as a precaution for what lies beyond.
~ The Barren North, once not so barren, it was the land of Daemons. An ancient race of strange beings that had power like no human man. For centuries they warred against humans, neither ever thriving above the other. The lands were blood torn and ashen with constant battles. Many lost their lives on both sides. That was until a Daemon lord rose up over a century past and vowed to conquer the whole world in the name of Daemons. He grew his numbers and in immense strength, but was ultimately defeated by five brave heroes who rose up and saved the world from a fiery death. While the North now lays barren not all Daemons were wiped out of existence, and the land is forever ash riddled.

The peace of Liria is thrown off its axis, when one year a babe is born within the royal family. The baby is born on a night of odd storms and magical bursts of energy all across the kingdom, a prophesied night of doom. Born with the eyes of the Daemon king, the babe is the reincarnation, and has been prophesied to destroy the world as they know it. Chaos erupts as many nobles within the royal family argue as to what needs to be done. Should they end the babe's life before the peace they've so carefully curated is doomed forever? But it is only a babe, and what if they could raise it under the influence of good?

Thus begins Gareth's story.

Thirty-score and some later, the babe who would be Daemon King is shunned from most public society and lives between the northern borders. A ruined old hamlet where once a fortress was built during the wars between man and Daemon. Peace still thrives mostly in Liria, but ever since Gareth's birth the Daemon population has also seemingly increased. Though their power is still not as strong as it once was ages ago, it is concerning enough. Rumors spread through the noble families and citizens alike. Gareth Haweks is feared by all for what he might do, or become.

MC, Gareth Hawkes, is the reincarnation of a Daemon king that once tried to wipe out the world. Everyone fears him and there is a lot of history from his childhood that would likely show up throughout the story itself. He teeters between wanting to proove them all wrong and this destiny lording over his head. He's also purposefully kept himself away from poliet society and most public veiw, letting everyone think the worst of him though that is not his true nature at all. He feeds into the fear, essentially, so that way people will leave him alone.

The story would begin during the start of a 'season', where every first ball is dedicated to the crown prince and his honnor. Many young ladies are desperately seeking his hand and desire becoming the next princess. Most of the royal family and nobels are loved and reveered as wonderful people. Almost saintlike, regardless of who they actually are inside.

By royal decree and social law each and every member of the royal family must attend these first balls. Gareth technically being one of theser royal family members, must attend as well. Typically he shows up late, everyone slinks away from him, he 'greets' the royal family and then leaves. However, this year is a masquerade and someone close to him convinces him to go in desguise and actually try to have a good time.

So he does. And the hope here -for the story- is that he meets someone at this masqurarde ball that nearly changes his whole world.

I do have a character sheet for him and a lot more information, but I am willing and wanting to build a lot more with my partner. And I would love to hear any ideas they have. Or share a few more things the last partner and I had come up with. This story could go so many different ways and I really just want to write Gareth's tale.

Song Inspired plots

I get periodically inspired by songs from both 'normal' music and musicals. I also love to share songs, playlists, images, ect. once I have a story I am excited about. So any my partner find and want to share are always welcome.

IF you know the show/song we'll probably become best friends! I loved Galavant back when it first came out and rewatch it often, so anything thats anything like it would always inspire me.
"Beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, BEER!~" Best line ever, can't convince me otherwise!

I image this song being the main energry between an Elf and Orc( or half orc) couple who have been forced into a political marriage to stop a war. They definitely don't get along and have entirely different veiws but end up finding common ground in their mutual hate for practically everythings else!

So obviously there is a lot of room for change and growth with this idea, its bare bones, but it is what I think about nearly every time I hear the song.

It has enemies to lovers vibes, forced proximity vibes, and probably lots of funny moments. High or Low fantasy would work either way. Doesn't have to have magic but I do love a bit of magic in everything. Probably a slow burn, but doesn't have to be.

A two part inspiration, with an overall story. I have a fullfledged plot, sort of, for this.

The idea here is a love story based around misguided betrayal. Both hearts broken and now they're both back face to face once again. Can the love they once had help them heal as they face new challenges?

Medieval Fantasy, low or high doesn't matter. Mostly just wanted to dwell of the longing, pinning, angsty romance of what once was. With the twists and turns of whatever decpetions are in their current present time.

Both of these songs are lovely and I can't get them out of my head.

Shows That Inspire
Not That I would want to copy and paste the show's details, but using the base information to build off of would be wonderful!

  • Shadow and Bone
    • I know, I know. But I think the structure of the world is really fun and would be interesting to play around with. Season one kind of rounded it all together nicely, but I often forget season two even exists. So we can ignore it LOL

  • Wheel Of Time
    • I've Only Watched The Show!! and I know that there is critism for those who read and love the books -which I would love to read one day. But I think the show on its own is amazing and it would be really cool to play around with the idea of Isadai and their parnters, (gender roles aside).

  • Bridgerton
    • High society, Balls, Gay Romance. Yes. Please!

Thats it for now! But I'm sure I'll have more to add later~ Thanks for reading and have a Beautiful Time!
