Hey! My name is Tory, and I am new to writerssantum!

As some context, I used to RP a few years ago on guiltypleasures and black dahlia, and now that I
am thinking of getting back into it I found out that those forums no longer exist so I am migrating
here :)

That behind said, I haven't RP'd in a long time, and my writing skills have suffered these past few years
as my focus has been on uni and academic/scientific styles of writing, along with media brainrot,
so please by patient as I re-learn how to write creatively and consistently again :)

I look forward to having a creative outlet in my life again and returning to my previous interests :)

About me?!

Female (she/her) • Uni Student • 22 • Bi • Maincoon mom

I am currently pursuing my Master degree in Psychology ~ which does take up a majority of my time
and when not being busy with that here are some of my interests/hobbies (I'm a boring person y'all)

PC games
In general I like some MMO's/MMORPG's like BDO but I don't currently play any. My top game at
the moment is Wuthering Waves (player since launch), and if I'm feeling cozy I like life sims like the
Sims 4 (the amount of hours I have in that game is unholy). I also like console games but I don't one
at the moment unfortunately...

Movies/Series (I'm quite the cinefile) here are some fave genres:
~ Horror (any kind really) ~
~ Sci-fi ~
~ Anime ~
~ Pretty much anything that catches my interest ~

Currently I've also really been into reading webtoons!... lowkey obsessed

Final Note

Thank you again for welcoming me into the community, I am very happy to find a thriving RP
community and it feels like home again.

As I mentioned before I feel very new at this again and I want to take my time and not rush,
so following this I will dedicate my time to creating a formal RP request thread in the appropriate forums
rather than already discussing RP ideas in this thread/via messages. If I don't reply quickly or
consistently to messages its not that I am avoiding, I just don't want to get overstimulated/overwhelmed
too quickly and rushed back into RP'ing,

Thanks for the understanding & patience!

Lastly, if anyone has newcomer RP tips/quick rundowns on terminology and RP etiquette, or site
suggestions on character images/character templates and whatnot that is all much appreciate!
I want to get back up to speed on useful tools and RP etiquette nowadays!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then!
