Height: 5' 6"

Detailed Physical Description: Cas is a very athletic, sturdy person, built entirely out of lean, toned muscle and very little fat from many lean years in her tribe. Her skin is a dark brown, and she has a strong jaw, with striking dark eyes which are framed by her long, straight black hair which she wears either loose or tucked into the collar of her oxskin tunic.
Typical Clothing/Equipment: Her clothes are sparsely decorated and very practical, made out of varying thicknesses of animal hide and constructed for durability to last decades. She wears a soft, shortsleeved deerskin undershirt, embroidered by her mother with a small border of wildflowers around the hem. Her weapon of choice is an Empire shortsword or a slingshot for hunting.

Name: Nolah of Okaniya
Date of Birth (& age): 22
Place of Birth: Seagrass Plains, Okaniya Territory
Gender: Male
Species/Racial Origin: Human, Okaniya tribe
Language: Common, Okaniyan, Ancient Infernal
Family/Friends/Pets/Etc: Cas(twin sister), Farah(Mother[missing]), Kokitan(Father[missing]), Orfin(pact demon), Naogae(childhood friend), Fasheloi(childhood friend)

Physical Description

Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 145 lbs
Hair: Black, short
Eyes: Brown
Detailed Physical Description: Nolah is just as slim, yet not as athletic as his sister. While he has nowhere near the strength or endurance she does, he isn't frail by any means. He has a rounder, gentler face, with kind eyes and high cheekbones. He has black hair which he keeps short, no longer than his jaw, dark brown skin and brown eyes. His canine teeth are slightly long and pointed, which sticks out when he smiles.
Typical Clothing/Equipment: Nolah wears almost exactly the same clothes as Cas, except his undershirt is quite elaborately embroidered with a scene of warriors on horses surrounded by dogs, running through a grass plain. Technically, this shirt isn't designed as an undershirt, but it was embroidered by his mother and he wears it for comfort and sentimental reasons. He wears a belt of pouches over his oxskin tunic, and carries the book of his pact with Orfin in a secret pocket in the seam of his tunic.

About

Bio:

Nikolas was born four years after his brother, Wilbur, and three years before his sister, Lottie. Lottie began to grow sickly when she was seven and he was nine. While Wilbur went into town with their father to earn money for her medicine, Nikolas stayed home, in theory to help their mother keep the house, which in actuality turned into him entertaining a steadily weaker Lottie with fairytales and improvised stories of adventure. She eventually passed when he was twelve and, to his brother's chagrin, he never lost his zeal for the fantastical and bookish endeavors. Shortly after the death of their sister, Nikolas' father fell into a deep depression and disappeared with no apparent trace as to where he went.

With little time to grieve their sister or their disappeared father, Wilbur apprenticed with a blacksmith while Nikolas apprenticed with a local book seller and binder. Shortly after they left home, their mother also vanished like their father. Through his apprenticeship, Nikolas read more books than any other villager would likely have had access to and learned about a variety of dark, supernatural creatures which were purported to plague the lands. One in particular, the vampire, had a method of feeding upon the life energies of the innocent which seemed to produce the exact same incurable symptoms which killed his sister, and Nikolas began to wonder if his sister might have been a victim of one of these creatures.

When the bookbinder's wife began to show the same condition, Nikolas begged his brother to help him with an investigation to the cause. Initially, Wilbur was reluctant to indulge his brother, until Wilbur's betrothed began to show similar symptoms and describe being visited at night by two shadowy figures, one of which seemed to match the description of the bookbinder's wife and the other which seemed male and shrouded in shadow which she couldn't see through.

Through their investigation, they found the wife to be under the thrall of a hideous vampiric creature, centuries old, which had made a nest of similar monsters in a maze of caverns constructed under the village. At the conclusion of the long investigation, they found they couldn't quite save the bookbinder's wife from falling prey to the vampire. However they were able to save Wilbur's beloved and several other vulnerable members of their community. In addition, Wilbur was fully convinced of the existence of these creatures, and he and Nikolas set out to find and destroy any of them which they came across. They also began to suspect their father had disappeared in search of something related to the circumstances their sister disappeared, though to what end they have yet to find out.
