Novice once upon a time on neopets

i started roleplaying and now i'm in my 30s and still doing it because both cringe and free. i was dubbed trollpaz in the chat and yk what that's probably the best way to describe it LOL. i love shitposts and memes a lot, so.... but really, most folks call me mew, and since i aspire to be cute, pink, and mythical, i'm all about it.

to the more writey portion: i love fiction of all types-- speculative, historical, horror, science-- and my biggest writing influences are jamaica kincaid, harper lee, terry pratchett, william gibson, david gaider, yuu watase, ryoko kui, and ursula k leguin. i write exclusively in third person, present tense, tho i don't care what my partner writes in. to me, roleplaying is a collaborative effort, more about a meshing of styles than uniformity. we're both supposed to be having fun, right? so write what you want.

i have a deep and probably worrisome love of smut, erotica, and hentai, and i make minimal apologies for it. hope to talk to y'all soon!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
