Hi there! I'm Andreas. This thread is years old, but I'm going to repurpose it now because I can. I'll be putting various plots and pairings that I'm craving the most here while I have my request thread linked in my signature which includes all of my interests in a pretty little package. This, however, will just be a basically formatted little... whatever. I enjoy prettying things up, but sometimes I just don't have it in me.

A little to know about me (and there's more detail in my overall request thread) is that I've been roleplaying for around a decade now and writing for even longer. I can easily pump out 500+ words per detailed post, and oftentimes I hit the 1000-2000 mark. I tend to write third person, past tense. For faceclaims, I don't do those. Not really, anyway, and if I do they're art/drawn/painted and only for inspiration as I often have a hard time finding a faceclaim to fit the exact image I have for my character. We're writer's after all, so I prefer to get and give descriptions - though I'm down to do a little inspiration spread. There's all mess of a genres that I like, most notably high fantasy. Not going to lie, I kind of wing it when it comes to world building. It can make more sense down the line if I don't try to plan it all out ahead of time - sort of just getting a few major things pinned down, a general direction, and moving in said direction. The rest sort of stitches itself together as I go along. Not that I don't respect those of you who can create a whole world through painstaking planning - ya'll are insane and I firmly believe the reason the world goes round, I love it! I like other genres as well like sci-fi, horror, thriller, and countless others. As long as it's got heavier, darker themes with an emphasis on our character's relationship, I'm all ears! I need some dark romantasy or I tire easily. Don't know who or what to blame on that other than I just like it - need it.

I can play the role of a woman, man, or other, but I do have a preference with what I play and who I'm playing against. For example, I prefer playing the female role in MxF. FxF and MxM... obviously it won't matter too much on that one since we'd both be playing the same gender. For MxF, I like playing the submissive female to the dominant male - sometimes I like switching on that one, but still tend toward the bottom or submissive role. For MxM, I can switch it up. Actually, I oftentimes enjoy playing the more dominant role against a more submissive guy. That being said, I don't like lithe little things afraid of their own shadows. And finally, FxF. I quite enjoy playing the submissive female role here to a dominant female - my characters will be snooty little brats that need to be humbled. Care to humble them?

Now onto the juicy bits...

ignore the fact that calling the natives of a planet "aliens" doesn't make any sense since the invading humans would technically be the aliens... you know what I mean

Humans have always taken what isn't theirs, reproducing and spreading like a virus. Years and years in the future, they're running out of space on earth and continue to do the same on other planets. The powers that be sending out legions of their soldiers to different planets to colonize and, in some cases, enslave. Not exactly legal, not exactly illegal, a grey area that is often exploited in this boom of space 'exploration'.

Your character will be a soldier. If you want him to have more power, he could be a Commander/Captain/Lieutenant/what have you. Regardless, he's apart of one of many squadrons trying to conquer what they initially believed to be a primitive planet. Humanoid life very much like their own aside from the unique skin colors, advantageous adaptations evolved from their planet's sometimes harsh climate, and from 'specimens' collected before humans even got their boots on the ground when they discovered they're different on an organic level - after abducting, killing, and dissecting them, of course.

Zealously militant, these soldiers take land like it owes them something. Slaughtering entire villages starting with their warriors, tearing through ancestral grounds, cutting down leaders in front of their people. The first week was a blood bath the likes of which that planet or its people hadn't seen since their own Neolithic period.

That was until they started fighting back, of course. Unused to this level of warfare, this kind of warfare, and the weapons that these strange looking creatures wielded, it took the natives time to regroup wide-scale. To come together and find their weaknesses.

We would pick up with our characters months later, when carnage had rocked both the humans and the natives, the numbers of casualties in the tens of thousands. At this point, it is an all-out inter-species war - even if the humans refused to acknowledge it as such. I will play a young - adult - native who, at this point, would be infamous in this quadrant of the planet among the military personnel stationed throughout - which happens to include your character and his squad - for leading the charge on a number of attacks against the invading humans. Intel tells the humans that she's (or he's) the daughter (or son) of a chief they had cut down within a couple weeks of landing. Why she hadn't been killed along with her tribe and mother was a mystery, but she was one to watch out for nonetheless.

I'm thinking my character would hit your character's base, probably in the middle of the night which would be a beautiful mirror of the way the humans had dropped in on the natives that first night. Patrols weren't quick enough to warn your character or the others, resulting in the majority of his brothers in arms being slain, some even as they were dead asleep.

Somehow, someway our characters get separated from their individual groups. Maybe in a blind rage your character sees mine and pursues her as the rest of her people pull back (I don't imagine they're particularly cruel and want to wipe out all of the humans, just enough send them packing). Eventually he catches up with her, takes her as a prisoner. Bada-bing, bada-boom, they're entangled now, but far away from anything our human soldier/Commander knows and having to rely on her to get them somewhere recognizable.

This is all up for negotiation! Just started writing it up and this was how it flowed. I want the general idea to stay the same, but if it's compelling enough I'll go for whatever.

A relatively inexperienced hunter ends up killing a vampire lord's entire nest while he's away - and only because he was away.

Coming home to blood and destruction, vampires he had sired and loved and lived with for centuries, his companions, murdered in cold blood. Evidence of their long lives staining the very walls of his castle.

Oooh, the rage. It would consume him, don't you think? Drive him to find this hunter, to make him pay for the pain he inflicted. So what happens when this vampire lord finds this hunter has a pretty little thing for a daughter? I can see this vampire letting this hunter live purely because he knows the pain it would cause him by taking his daughter away - leaving him something behind to let him know what had taken her.

Thus, his new blood-bag, where every bitter-sweet swallow was both cathartic revenge and a harsh reminder of what he lost. I'd love to explore this dynamic. Whether her instincts drive her to flight, fight, or fawn, if she has any knowledge of what her father really was before her capture, if she even knows vampires exist before one is whisking her away and sinking his fangs in her throat. Does she learn to love him in some fucked-up kind of way, or will she merely succumb to circumstance and tolerate her new life?

Just a side bit, but I like the idea of a vampire being able to control whether or not their bites feel especially painful or pleasurable.

Mr. and Mrs. [Anderson], a well-to-do couple, adopted an older boy years ago, much to the dismay of their younger biological daughter.

I'm thinking the parents had always wanted a boy, so when their daughter was born they weren't exactly the happiest couple in the room. After her, maybe they kept trying and nothing stuck, but then somehow, someway, ended up adopting their son. That said, I'm definitely thinking he gets all the praise growing up, all the help, etcetera. She would do well, but quickly burn out with how hard she worked and how little her achievements were acknowledged compared to her adopted counterpart. He would be a prodigy in some way (your choice in what!), always ahead, always outshining his 'sister'. Not on purpose, it's just easy when the spotlight is always on him.

Just because he's the golden child doesn't mean that he hasn't got his own set of problems. Having to be perfect, never being able to screw up or make mistakes under their parent's scrutiny, all feeding into an aversion to failure. He may even have his own simmering resentments - sometimes wishing he were the invisible one. Not to mention any of the traumas he may have from being in the system for however long before the [Anderson's] adopted him. Or even how he got into the system in the first place - can't be even remotely good if he became a ward of the state.

Whether or not he's cruel to his adoptive sibling is up to you. Personally, I'm leaning more toward him seeing the favoritism and trying to spread the wealth (if he gets a nicer allowance, he gets her something nice - if her achievement gets overshadowed by his, he spends some quality time with her and praises her) under the noses of their parents while she simultaneously loves and resents him for it - that kind of past dynamic.

Our story will take place into her young adulthood - I'm thinking they have anywhere from a four to six year age difference, or they can be more similar if age difference isn't your thing. Your character is established; a home to call his own, a couple cars, a steady, lucrative career, shiny degrees prominently and proudly displayed.

What happens when his little sister shows up at his door in the middle of the night, all of her belongings on her back, with tear-streaked cheeks? Last he probably heard was that she dropped her last college classes, and while their parents had brushed it off as another way of her acting out and simply going on a bender, he might have actually been worried by her radio silence.

I'm thinking she got mixed up with the wrong people, or maybe person, and she turned up at the only place she knew she'd feel safe and taken care of.

We can get more into what happens next - if any lines had been crossed before, if there were any 'almost' moments no matter how fleeting they might have been. All only after my character became of age, of course. Any and all references to their past will simply be to establish their history and be above-board. Either way, this can be an interesting way to explore their resentments, the desires there, their dynamic. Has he always tried to take care of her? Has she always made it difficult for him? Does he ever feel guilt for their parents favoritism even though it wasn't his fault? Probably yes to all of the above. Let's dig in!

    Sweethearts
    M x F
    obsession • control • surrender

Character A and Character B grew up together - a bit of an age difference there (and depending on how much we can change this to A being B's older sibling's friend), but despite this they were quite close. A always protected B, holding the line between would-be bullies, the everyday cruelty the world often deals, and B being safe.

I can imagine that this becomes part of A's identity in some way. Small at first maybe, or maybe it's starts off strong - priding himself on keeping someone 'small and helpless' safe and sound.

We would begin when they meet again. For some reason or another in their younger years, they're torn away. Could be that she grew up and clung to her new group of girl friends while he found his own crew - didn't fill the hole it left as no one fit the shape either of them left in the other's life (particularly his - we'll get into that shortly). Or maybe A or B had to move - parents chasing work wherever it led them. Whatever the case, whether it be of their own making (societal pressure neither of them were prepared for), or something completely out of their control, they're separated.

A calls, of course he does. But then B doesn't pick up one day and A never calls again. Letters cease eventually. Then a couple years pass, a couple more, and suddenly the two of them are strangers. Adults now (B in college, A probably graduated by that time or maybe he never went - Character A is yours and whatever you think works for him, works for me. Trade school? Immediately got into a field? Is he a tech prodigy?)

A tries to keep up with B's life through social media - B accepted his friend requests on every platform she still frequented - and it works for some time, keeps the longing at bay just enough for him to breathe... until something triggers every survival instinct he has. Does B get a boyfriend? At least, one she actually is with long enough/serious enough with to post on social media. Does it compel A to find any reason to move back home? Maybe he's deliberating between two job offers, one with one set of pros and cons and the other the same, but one would drive him further away from their hometown while the other puts him right back in the heart of it. Or, if we went with B moving away while A stayed behind, maybe B'a new boyfriend/fiance are moving back to her hometown to buy a home together.

Craving the familiarity here, how intimately they'd know each other. Exploring how deeply things have changed and find the things that haven't. We can build our own worlds here and how their puzzle pieces fit together, or how Character A forces them together. Basically, I'm wanting to explore something semi-preestablished, unhealthy, overprotective, possessive, manipulative. Love the idea of them having history which we can come up with as we go and also establish some major events while we're planning.

I'd also just love to explore playing a character that's resistant at first, at least when she realizes what's happening, but then slowly surrenders to it, piece by piece. Filling a hole in her heart she didn't know she had - someone who wants her so badly he'd do just about anything to have her.

    Where's My Mind

    size difference • stalking • dub-con • age difference • obsession

Character A (our stalker, your role) is obsessed with Character B (our better stalker, my role) for reasons we can discuss in more detail.

They (Character A) know everything about them... at least, he thinks he does.

Maybe he's the CEO of the company or perhaps a Regional (high up for the complexities it'd add to the power dynamic, but not the highest role), Character A, and they're (Character B) a new addition to the tech department - younger, came with impressive letters of recommendation from even more impressive names from all across the state. They're good at what they do, to say the least, but they're green. New to this company and all of the inner workings. We can even get into this business being a front in some way for some sort of criminal activity to keep the external stakes around them high. At least higher than just the stalking bits.

Basically, I'm thinking Character A might be in a loveless marriage type situation - maybe freshly divorced - maybe he's been divorced for awhile and the loneliness and bitterness is making a home in his body - or maybe he never found a relationship that stuck because of his possessive tendencies. Whatever the case, I can see the two of them catching each other's eye for one reason or another. Character A might like the way they look at first, something small and innocuous, not even a crush really - just an internal acknowledgement of the clear attraction he'd have for them. Then Character B is thrown into Character A's circle for a bit - upgrading/updating something or another on their computers, tablets, company phones. It's a complete overhaul so not only would it take time, it would force our characters to be in the same proximity for days on end.

As soon as the update is done, Character B moves on like they hadn't just captured the undivided attention of Character A, launching him into a slowly growing obsession. This in turn will just lead to stalking and any number of obsessive and unhealthy behaviors on his part. Getting into the employee files and finding out their phone number, where they live, using that information and finding what little they can online about them - you know. The usual. Before it turns into full-blown stalking - and I'm talking he finds a way into their home when they're not there (I'm picturing a little shithole, shoebox type apartment, so not hard to get into even if he has to bribe someone to get himself a key made - or simply find a window unlocked), installing small cameras in inconspicuous places, maybe listening devices.

Little would Character A know that Character B has not only clocked him as being the obsessive stalker that he is, but they've also done their own research. They're great with tech and had already had unfettered access to all of Character A's devices for days - it was a piece of cake installing their own spyware and erasing their tracks. Maybe Character B had seen it in his eyes that first day they saw each other, before Character A had even genuinely considered them - saw that same thing in their eyes that made them so similar.

Or! Really any other scenario that you can think of. Would love to play the 'better stalker' here - the idea of them being able to fly under the radar despite the fact that Character A is watching them sounds both challenging and exciting to write.

Can't you just picture it when your character (Character A) finally realizes who he's dealing with? Thinking [she's] this oblivious little thing, but then seeing she was pulling his strings, watching him, her interest just as piqued by him as his was by her. And only knowing it because she chooses to let him see? Oh, man. Would he be scared? Aroused?... Scaroused?
