Hello folks,

I've committed to myself that I would write more in 2024. To that, I felt it was time to whip up a fairly simple, straightforward request thread.

I write male and female characters and don't have a strong preference for a specific role in a pairing. I'm also flexible when it comes to content. I wouldn't say I have specific kinks that I must see in a given story, and as far as my dislikes, I'm not a fan of unrealistic proportions or bathroom play. I enjoy complicated power dynamics, conflicted motivations, and forbidden desires.

What I'm specifically looking for is relationships built on a foundation of money. Not necessarily quick one offs with a prostitute, but something a bit meatier. Something I adore is the scenario where someone is struggling financially and trades sexual favors for financial security. Some examples:

• A college student begins to serve a member of faculty or alumni to get their schooling covered.
• A spouse approaches the lender to address their partner's debt.
• A tenant can't make their rent, but the landlord offers an arrangement.
• Classic sugar baby.
• An escort hired to be one's 'significant other' during a family gathering.
• Doing anything to secure one's job.

While all of these are simple scenarios for smutty fun, what I really like is exploring the emotions and conflict inherent in such a situation, and how those change with time. Does one begin having to swallow their shame, only to find that shame becoming a desire they can't explain? Does the financially solvent partner abuse their position? What happens when/if the struggling partner gets back on their feet? How far are they willing to go to get there? It's not about the smut for me. It's seeing how characters react to their situation.

I'm perfectly happy to write either side of the equation and any sex for my character. I've written very little MxM, so I may not be the /best/ partner for that.
