First off, here are some lil things that might or might not be useful to know in advance...
  • My character is a dominant male - anything else bores me to write.

  • Your character is a non-dominant female (not necessarily submissive all the way through... just not dominant. Doesn't mean that she can't be a little bold - she'll need that for this pairing to work. c; )

  • Post-length doesn't matter as long as I can work with what you write - details (not filler) are welcome~!

  • Do try to post at least 1-2 times a week. Naturally, I'll try to do the same if not more frequently, depends on how inspired I become. (yes, I'm guilty of having allowed particular partners to monopolize my attention ><'')

  • And most importantly... Be prepared to PLAN~ Because I just can't do a roleplay when I'm blindly stumbling through the dark, unsure of where we're heading. As lovely as surprises can be, I'd prefer it if the plot isn't a complete mystery. Of course, I'm open to changes and plot twists - what we plan isn't set in stone, it's really just guidelines for how stuff will roughly happen.

  • OOC chat isn't a requirement - but it's nice to get a feel for who I'm writing with. Nothing super personal, though.

As a lil heads-up, I'm a serial weeb, and I always write while allowing some music to guide my fingers as I type. Music is practically my no. 1 source of inspiration and creativity, sometimes it'll leak directly into my PMs. You've been warned~

"So... what is this plot actually about, hexa?!"

My fine fellow, that's what I'm about to explain. My latest craving is...

*drumroll*

>> King x maid/peasant/commoner <<

Where the latter is YC. I'm feeling fairly flexible with her exact position in society as long as she's a commoner. Someone who most certainly should not be catching the eye of royalty, not to mention the king himself. But who somehow ended up doing precisely that anyway. And now he, a man with quite a reputation for being cold and callous during his ongoing reign, is totally infatuated with her.

Now, this isn't the story of a lustful ruler who snatches an unsuspecting lady off the street and makes love to her in his bedchamber whether she likes it or not. No, no - it's so much more than that! ^^

Hint: It's plot-based. Heavily plot-based. Maybe with some smut if it makes sense. But sweet, sweet romance will most certainly feature in this story - I'm a hopeless romantic, after all.

So, it starts with our two lovebirds-to-be meeting at an annual festival in the capital. MC, the king, is in disguise for the evening as he is curious to experience this festival through the eyes of a commoner, having so often watched from a distance as the rest of the city's inhabitants enjoyed themselves for that festive week.

However, he comes across YC who is being harassed by some drunken men. On a whim, he steps in and deals with these men on his own, soon having them on the run (concentrated awesomeness radiates off him - well, at least that would have been nice...). Seeing an opportunity to get hold of a partner for the traditional pair dance, he requests that YC accompanies him for the evening - to repay him for the favor. And so they go on to enjoy the evening together, and for the first time in what feels like forever to him, he genuinely has a good time.

Of course, the evening doesn't last forever, so they eventually part ways. But he can't say when he'll be around again, being concerned that he might become a weak ruler if he allowed himself to soften up more often. (Yes - silly fear, but that's how he feels, even if he doesn't admit it.)

So the next time they see each other... it's a few weeks later, when one of YC's family members (or close friends) has been arrested by the king's men... for treason by plotting to overthrow the king (whether or not that's actually true is another matter). She would have heard that it was possible to make an appeal to the reigning monarch, although this king was notorious for bluntly rejecting appeals, often pinning the person as equally guilty. But she has to take the chance, or her loved one will be put to death for crimes he/she might not even have committed.

The king would be genuinely surprised to see her, of all people, muster the courage to approach him - after all, she wouldn't be aware of that the man she spent that evening with was none other than the king. But he recognizes her as the woman who made him feel truly alive for that one evening...

I've got so much more for this, but those details are better suited for PMs.
(Spoiler: He doesn't just release the accused)

>> PM me if interested <<
Well, that's it for today... I'm hitting the hay now. *sighs and flops over from exhaustion*
